Been there, done that with a few older tractors (Ferguson TEA 20, Ford 800, Massey Harris Pony, International 434 and now a Massey Ferguson 270 Diesel). All open cockpit machines so it’s easy to keep an eye on the weather.😱✌🏻👍🏻🇨🇦😂🤪

Seems strange that Tennessee is having "wintery'er" weather than here in Canada, LOL.

I think you forgot to put some grease in the zerk fitting on the sreet sign at the top of the discharge chute of your snowblower. Never mid, you can do that next summer.!✌🏻👍🏻😱🇨🇦😂🤪

Great old tractor. If your seeing ice/frost on the carburetor, then the inside has the same thing. If you build a heater box around the exhaust manifold and down below the carb a bit that will stop the frosting of the carb. Make sure to block the wind blowing on the carb coming from the fan. My old Ferguson has that frosting of the carb trouble too. Clean up the chute and impeller blades an spray them with Tremclad clear gloss paint . That helps a lot to keep the snow from sticking. I do all my throwers that way. And don’t forget to do the walk behind blower too. I find it works great. All of my garden tractors with snow throwers would have moved all that slush with out plugging up. We just had a bad storm here that had two to three inches of slush on the bottom with three inches of wet snow on the top. Was very hard to move. Have a great day.

I enjoyed watching the blower run, it has an ok throwing distance with the dryer snow. It is unique that the impeller drum sticks up above the top of the blower. It makes sense though as there is no reason to load the impeller at top of the rotation. What is the HP of the tractor at the PTO? The tractor seems underpowered for that size blower.

33hp at the PTO. I think It can handle it just fine if I sort out the carb issue. I've seen others on KZread adjust an external main jet screw, but I haven't found one on mine. I'll take a closer look soon because I like getting the driveway cleared in minutes (as long I'm not moving cameras around, LOL)
