They wear their hooves down on rocks and stones and such because wild horses travel lots and lots of miles in a day.

It sucks because of the blacksmith. I have never seen such a disregard for fire safety in my life. A blacksmith performs work in a room with wooden walls. A stable worth several million dollars could burn down in 30 minutes due to the negligence of a blacksmith. The workers have no places where they can change clothes. Why do things hang on the wall? This is nonsense.

I bought a Paso at a kill sale several years ago. He developed into my favorite ride. One farrier trimmed him with long toes and a short heel, I’ve never been so mad. It took a couple months to get his hooves back into proper Paso shape.

I'd like to make a suggestion to your channel i love watching your videos but it's kind of disappointing not to see the other half of the task at hand being done meaning you do one foot but you don't do the other It would be nice to see both feet done in your videos or all of their feet done if they need to have them all done Especially in this video I'd really like to see what it would look like with both feet done Thank you

This was a BIG job needing a lot of strength and endurance as well as skill and anatomical insight. I hope the owner responsible for this terrible neglect never has control over other horses again, ever.

How do horses keep their hooves trimmed in the wild? Is it because they spend time around rough, rocky areas? Whereas horses on a farm tend to only see grass and dirt for the most part?
@vega4281Күн бұрын
Yes, wild horses wear their hooves down naturally. They are constantly on the move, no shoes, not penned in a pasture or stall.
