How many tubes of sealant did it take to do that job? Was it more than 1 ?
Show the completed project first, then show how you did it.
2:50 put up ya pants bud. Can see your buttcrack 😅
This is the only good cover I can find on KZread.
Cute bum 😊 If no one has told you that before, you deserve to hear it! 😍Hope 2023 was better to you.
Clean brudda
Ive never seen someone use a router to fit their insulation onto the floor/ribs thats interesting
Probably overkill but it worked
You're a true artificer. Great work!
Thank you!
Excellent!
Waste of plywood! Why didn’t you use a jigsaw to cut those frames? CHC machines are suited for production of multiples.
I love your idea. May I boldly ask for plans ? Please 😊
Hi! Just came across your great video. Can you please tell me total height of the floor? Manny thanks...
I don't remember exactly, but roughly 1.75 inches thick
The drop cloth part 😂
do the collapsible bed legs stay collapsed while driving? doesn't seem like they lock when in closed position. I love this build.
They didn't originally, but I added in magnets to make them stay put
@@TheDungineer oh that’s a good idea! Now I just have to make sure they’re magnetic before I buy them 😩
This was great!!! I am trying to find a video on how to make a murphy bed with table and storage when stored… if you decide to make a video of something like that lmk lol
That’s so cool. I love it
Would you be willing to share your measurements for the Murphy bed?
I totally would if I could find them! The radius on the legs that they roll down is nearly the full height of the bed (which can be whatever you want it to be) , and I made the platform to be 3 in wider than the mattress on all sides. Honestly, most of this was just kind of improvised and thrown together.
Redacted... sounds French but mispronounced...
Do you have an email that I can personally contact you at so that I can get some tips and tricks? Thank you
I'm not super comfortable giving out personal information, but you can DM me on Reddit www.reddit.com/u/TheDungineer?
We do not have reddit. Sorry... just wanted to discuss different options.
Wow...amazing..thanks so much. I am no builder but I think I can at least get some one to cut me some wood and put in a box frame in my van! This is gonna be a game changer for me! Thanks so much!
You're very welcome, glad you like it!
Where does the moisutre end up going? What happens to that condensation moisture?
More fi hi fi Murphy bed !
🙂
Great job! I was thinking of something like this in a tiny home in the small "living room". I thought of hiding it even more by bumping out the wall the thickness of the bed to accommodate the bed. I like the curved bottom, I too seen that video, it is a great idea. I think I want a pivot point of some kind. I need to keep it attached to the wall at that point. Unfortunately no has done it yet on a tiny home I believe. But your gets me thinking that's for sure. Thank you
I'm 5 seconds in and subscribed due to the intro and channel name 😂 Love it!
I love the music bro
Thanks, great idea. I'm putting your creation into my van
or where do you live I could by a kit from you
Unfortunately I lost my designs to fusion 360 licensing issues, and I sold my CNC machine
can you sell me the plans buying a Nissan vz2500 this would be perfect for
How has this insulation done in the heat?
It works really well! Luckily the van is white so it's pretty reflective of sunlight, and you really need to have reflective insulated sunshades for the front windows. Depending on how much you go in and out, it can be around 15° cooler inside than outside.
@@TheDungineer thank you!
Lol I had to rewind that ending
That assembly part earned my subscription 😄😄
Glad you enjoyed it!!
That is awesome, now crits are delivered from the eye of the beholder
Thanks for posting on Reddit. Glad to find a new person to Sub to!(: good work man!
So you still have to manually reload the dice each time?
Just like a regular dice tower 😁
Spiffiest, how would you change this to enable the dice reload automatically each time?
@@user-gt5nc3bt6f I'm not sure the mechanism. I could design one. I just didn't understand the concept of using discord, robots and video camera and automation but having to pick up the dice. But now that I'm thinking about it I've got some ideas for a stupidly over engineered thing where you can do n d? And it picks the dice and rolls them for you. I work with 6 axis CNC machines at work and robot arms so... Trying to think of something that costs less than my car. Work toys are in the 6 figure range.
Love it! Looks very nice.
Industry baby should be another music
Python code, please!
I'd love to see it too!
Just added a GitHub page to the description
@@TheDungineer You are awesome. Thank you!
Looks like beauty and the camera have something in common.
Nice.
Awesome project! I miss Inventor. I've been using NX at my new job, which is great and all, but Inventor was much more intuitive in my opinion
I actually hate it! It's just what I have. I dream of some day getting back to SOLIDWORKS.
@@TheDungineer haha I guess it's just what you're used to. I learned on SolidWorks in school and liked it but it's been so long since I've used it I don't really remember. Then I went to Creo and did not like that, then Inventor which I thought was the easiest and most intuitive and now NX which is powerful but there are some things I don't like.
Love it! Well done!
Hey thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed it.
And he's back. :)
U deserve more views and subs I can’t believe u will still make hard work vids when not much people watch god bless u and hope ur channel blows up one day
Thank you for the kind words! I hope this channel blows up too, but I'm glad that anyone gets some enjoyment from it.
Looks awesome!
Hey thank you! I really have to give credit to Scott on that one, it looked pretty boring before he painted it.
One year?Wow what dedication. Good job.
One year with a ton of down time from the project with it sitting in a box* 😂 but thank you all the same.
looks good-quick note-a multi tool with worn out blade or grind teeth off works good for trimming cured foam
Hey thanks a lot! That was definitely one of the things I struggled with.
You REALLY need to make in a future video the flame sword from LOTR's The With King !!
Any squeaking of the rigid foam?
Nope!
@@TheDungineer great. was going to use that myself and thought it might squeak a lot
Just purchased some insulation, subfloor, and vinyl plank for my van. Would you consider skipping the plywood subfloor if you were going all 8020 and mounting directly to the tie downs and van wall?
Hey! Thanks for stopping by! Probably not. The vinyl plank is not very strong, it needs continuous support underneath it or it will bend and flex pretty significantly, probably even break.
LOL, lube...
