Another trick, prevent resin pour over by making an outline of hot glue! I neglected to do this.
Did you manage to get the epoxy completely flush with the wood, or when you run your finger across do you feel a level change? Hard to tell from the video. Looks great! Keep the content coming!

There was about a 1/16" discrepancy between the surface of the board and the resin when everything was cured. I was able to get the wood and resin fully flush with one another, but I didn't try to match thickness across the board so there's probably an imperceptible dip of 1/16" across the surface profile.
Is the resin you used food safe?

It's safe to use in a cutting board, where there isn't prolonged exposure to food, but I wouldn't use it for holding liquids or long term food storage.
