That Skateboard looks sick. I had a Skateboard when I was younger but never really learned how to use it. 7 months of scrapes, bruises, and cuts and still never learned it.

I liked how one time Dude said he can "See his kills before they happen." I thought that was cool. You pretty much need to visualize your moves in your mind, think before you act.

So this all depends on what control type you use. Sticks have an advantage when strafing, while Motion has the advantage of being able to flick. Also if you want to try motion controls, hook your switch up to the TV.
I'm not sure how sticks have an advantage while strafing. Motion lets me track the opponent while strafing.
You actually don't want to play Splatoon on a TV. TV's have input lag which adds delay to motion aim, on top of the input lag you get from the switch. A monitor with the fastest response time (usually 1ms is optimal) is the best option. Also, sticks have 0 advantage over motion controls. It's why they're on by default when you start the game.

I either move the cursor too slow or too fast and that's been my problem all along. Whenever I play with the squeezer, I find it hard to tap ZR to shoot at long distances, so I change the controls to shoot with Y instead of ZR because it's easier to tap with my thumb than my index finger.

you dont have to press super hard or super fast to shoot, you might be putting too much effort into the action and end up either overpredicting/under reacting
My trick to mashing fast with ZR is to fully relax my right hand. Still not the most consistent though.
@@gierasole it might not be super fast for you, but there are many people, myself included, who mash as quickly as they can and it still isn't enough.

Eventually I’ll get a Wii U and a copy of splatoon. Piracy seems easier though so I might just get the console. Who knows. Nintendo doesn’t sell it anymore so it doesn’t matter.

I do find aiming vertically with decavitator is tricky, so trying to aim at people up on ledges or at a lower elevation takes some adjustment. Like you said, the slash seems to go lower than the reticle would indicate (or rather the reticle does seem to shift downward when a slash is released). Also, it takes practice to time the release when jump slashing. You actually have to release the slash then jump if you want the paint to go out when you are at the top of your jump. Tricky to get used to because it's quite different from all of the other Splatanas in that respect. So, if you are trying to jump-slash over a ledge, not only do you have to practice the timing, but you have to learn to adjust for the reticle change as well. . I, for one, am having a tough time adjusting to that, so most players on ledges are safe from me when I'm playing Toothpaste Samurai. 😅
Dude: I have the wall for a reason Splatoon 3 kit designers: uh... yeah... we definitely put it there for a very real reason that we totally thought through... haha... don't look at Big Swig or Reeflux Deco (Before anyone says it does have uses on Decav, I wouldn't be surprised but its usefulness doesn't feel intended, just like the devs wanted to slap wall on everything)
It's weird cause Big Bubbler actually works really well with Mint so I think their intention with Charcoal was to allow you still have a shield in some form but they failed to understand that BB and Wall work very differently and there's a reason why BB synergizes with Decavitator while Wall doesn't.

A bad community would have it not being called out at all - or worse, discrimination and other similar traits are systemic in said community. Splatoon is not one of those, and that's good.

Videos are popping up and I'm out of the loop, what happened? and was it that banners fault?
I play handheld because I don’t have a pro controller with motion💔 It is very uncomfortable; you can’t aim when you can’t see, you can’t use motion controls on handheld and see at the same time. It means I can’t read a lot of the situations and play the best. I play alright for a casual but it is hard to play more competitive when you can’t see half the time lolol. I think I do have a second pro controller with motion but most of the time I can’t be bothered to break it out and get used to it instead of handheld. I may use handheld to play splatoon but know that I don’t enjoy it all that much🕺
