I bought 4 Mexican turbos for my 32 gallon reef tank thinking it’ll take them a couple months. Half the tank was clean in the first 24hr and the rest over a two week period.
I've been running Syncra SDC 3.0 on a 60g cube for a year. It's a great pump and well worth the money. I would buy the next size up if I were to do it over again, though. I have to run it at 100% to get 3x turnover (I actually measured the flow rate), but I thought I would be able to get much higher given the advertised flow rates. I really like the control it gives me, as well as the ability to monitor temp and maintenance reminders.

I've been trying to find a video on this topic, do you have any tips on how to get a standard captive bred ocellaris clownfish to show its wild colors. The fish in textbooks and divers pictures are a very bright orange with huge dorsal fins where as (most of not all) of the captive bred ones are a duller shade with smaller fins? Curious if it's diet or some other factor?

Pluming is very clean
Instant Ocean has extremely high levels of Aluminum & Copper. Also I’ve found Tropic Marine is far more stable and you use a lot less to get ur levels up in Salinity. I had a Haitian Anenome that wouldn’t heal until I switched from Instant Oxean to Tropic Marine.
So what will happen if i add microbacter 7 do if ibadd it into a tank thay is already cycled?
How do you adjust it I feels like mines not working and only makes a lot of bubbles if I uncap the air hose

His alk is dropping while he’s away because he’s not breathing CO2 into the room. Lower pH pushes more bicarb into carbonate and the corals uptake more.

Thanks Rico, I was looking for a solution related to shut off valve. This is a manual way to do it , yet better for me becuase I would need to use it once in a year, if not 2 to 3 years. 👍
Your definitely not supposed to use RO tubing for the co2 doser to reactor!

I think you have Abyzz return pump, put random flow generators on your return. Then you wouldn’t need that motorized sweep and you can set your turbelle to wave. Thanks for the video
I have done fresh water my whole life and I am doing tons of research before I make the leap! I am picking up things little by little. What is your advice for a starter tank. I currently have a 55 gallon fresh and want to do around 60. I also live in a story and have it currently against a wall so I’m sure salt water will be ok there as well. Also what brand. My head is spinning lol

Do you guys have a video of the intake? I just purchased a tank like yours. I was wondering about the intake. I have a clear piece that slides over the intake but it won’t stay it keeps popping up.
Would you still suggest this rock ? how is it holding up?
With technical support and a replacement controller we are still unable to connect the device to the Wi-Fi. Senior network engineer, and I’ve never had such problems. Also note this does not support 5G which is OK for most people. Someone has to know the trick how to force the Wi-Fi to stay on the controller and to get it to connect to my 2G Wi-Fi. 🤯
