Any heater will need to be replace in 1 yr to 3 yr. It's a wear and tear part. Price to me is up to each individual. Ehiem to me is a reasonably priced heater. That has a 3 yr warranty, example I pick my up at Petsmart a 300 watt for $20 on sale. Add a controller you can save and have a good heatter. This heater looks really nice. Guess we will find out how durability it is in time. Thanks for showing us this heater, looks classy. I do like that it's not made of glass. I hope you can do a review on Hanna new mult meter test kit.

Brother Rico right.... I learned the hard way... Went cheap on equipment and procedures but I had over a 1000 in the tank.... Preach brother

$500 OUCH!!!!! I get that we risk 1000's in livestock but in all my years I haven't had a Jager ever fail, except for one that was bad out of the box and wouldn't heat. I also swap them out every couple of years and have them on a controller for "insurance" . Looks nice, Hope it lasts.

Looks like a nice product, just not in my price range for a heater.

1 or 3 year warranty..? for that money the game changer would be a 3 year warranty.... Also is that temp probe metal or plastic.?

1 year warranty! Metal temp probe I believe. I do wish they had a 3 year warranty for the price! But there's a lot of products out there that only has a 1 year warranty that are a good product 🤷🍻👊👍

What is the degree difference ? .1 or .05
