    Not really GROUND beef related but I work at a Trader Joe's and we just got these 3rd pound burger patties that are 4 for 10 bucks and are a combination of chuck, brisket and sirloin. And when I say that these are some of the best burgers I've ever had, it's no exaggeration. One of the many random things we've gotten in that I've come to love that will probably be discontinued in three months lol, get em while you can!

    I eat one meal a day and spend way less than I did before going carnivore...I spent 50 dollars on meat and it lasted me 2 weeks and there are some months I do fasting..it really helps...this diet changed my life....4 years in and sustaining my 120 pound weight loss from 264...off my high blood pressure medications and reversed my insulin resistance. It's been life changing....I do supplement with IV hydration therapy to make sure I'm getting all the vitamins I need!

    Due to what I've read about the Randle Cycle and glycation I must dissuade everyone from carnivore and fruit diet. Glycation is the misshaping of proteins due to sugars such that they do not function properly. Collagen misshaping is especially noticeable with skin wrinkles. Fructose is a worse culprit than glucose. Avoid ALL types of sugars and carbs for best health. There are no essential carbs in the human diet.

    Id love a video about what you need before starting as far as kitchen gear,spices and condiments. Like buy steak and chicjen, seafood seasoning in bulk. Wich are best low cal low carb condiments. My best advice is to get a large foreman gril with drip tray this us most efficient and effective way to gather beef fat wich you save in containers and use in many ways in cooking as ingredient and pan fry oils

    Hello! I have a kitchen supplies and tools video where I show everything I use. As far as spices, I just buy organic. I mostly just use salt and the occasional garlic powder, and then I make my own spice mixes for taco, chili, and cajun. The only condiments I use are mustard, vinegar, and Primal Kitchen buffalo sauce.

    Heavy metals testing is useless in bloodwork, unless you are pathogenically toxic. They mean little, without a DMSA challenge test, because heavy metals, and other metals, settle into tissues quickly. Your glucose levels are fine. Blood glucose is, when carnivore, created by the liver, on demand, through gluconeogenesis. If you have sufficient ketone bodies, "low" in the standard range is not actually low. :-) Get a hair mineral test from a known good lab. Again, Felix Harder has the details on which labs are good. That will tell you which metals might be in excess in your tissues.

    Watch out for oxalate dumping, and iodine. I do Lugols for iodine ( Brownstein protocol) and 1g each of potassium and sodium citrate per day to solvate oxalates. These both solved detox problems i was having month 8, including fatigue and cramps. The iodine normalizes hormones, helps the glands heal, AND debrominates your tissues. Carnivore causes DETOX. Also, cholecalciferol ( synthetic D3) isnt great. Check our Felix Harder on this. He recommends using fish oil, as the calcium in the synthetic can cause bone spurs, plus the additional calcium can cause more oxalate dumping. A friend of mine struggling with visceral fat is going to try H2 inhalation therapy, on the theory that PUFA sticks in viscera ( recently proven true ) and that perhaps H2 will fully hydrogenate those fats in situ, and allow them to be burned.

    @@JennyMitich I haven’t tracked anything. I’ve increased my water intake because I do work outside and sweat a lot. In the middle of this 3 month process I was eating more but backed off a bit because I don’t get hungry until midday but even then it’s hard to find something to snack on before my first steak/meal. I’m not hitting the gym as often as I would like. I’ve heard 4lbs of meat/cheese/eggs when lifting heavy. I can barely do couple pounds at most

  • @JennyMitich
    @JennyMitichКүн бұрын

    @@stefenstone it’s super individualized. You should track your food to see just how much you’re eating and start there. Figure out your minimum protein intake, and try to hit that most days. If you’re still feeling tired, you probably need to increase your protein and eat more in general, but you don’t really know because you haven’t been tracking so start tracking and get a week or two worth of data to see how much you’re actually eating and then go from there.
