  This was like having an old friend from childhood and knowing they probably went down a weird path but not wanting to get involved. Only for a kind stranger to post an hour long deep dive into the road that got then where you already assumed they were. Thanks for checking on Scene it? For me. I didn't have the strength to do it myself.

  I was in college and used “Scene It” to train to audition for a game show with some friends. I was the TRUE master of it!!

  I related to you so much when you talked about the weird fear you would get from the uncanny feeling that the DVD menus would give you and the voices. I remember sometimes playing seen it during the load for each new screen always got a really creepy feeling. I don’t really know why though. Haha

  I kind of remember seeing the scene it games for the Wii back when K-Mart was still a thing in the early 2010's.I think it was the one for the twilight movies, though. Might be thinking of a different game that was like EVERYWHERE. The one that I usually go to that was by a food giant store became a goodwill several years later.

  I had two scene it boards, one I got through a kids meal, and another through a raffle at elementary. This game scared the crap out of me because the music for the game was so intense and creepy, it made me feel like I was playing a game of life and death and not just some movie trivia 😂

  I loved this game so much 🥹 so many happy memories with my family. We didn’t use the board most of the time, we’d just do 2 all plays, then one my play, then 2 all plays, and one my play etc etc. I credit it as being both a reason I love movies so much and also why I love trivia. The newest one is so disappointing in comparison

  I grew up playing Scene it Marvel edition, and it came in the metal box with the holographic top. I loved playing that game with my brother and dad, and I had no idea how many different versions there were!

  i've never played scene it despite growing up exactly in the time it was super popular but i'm feeling nostalgic for it anyway? the 30yos yearn for the trivia, or something also first time watcher and your avatar is extremely cute. distractingly so. 100/10 you are very powerful

  Gosh I remember my family and I arguing over the Disney version of this game where a question about a character's name was asked from a clip where their name was never mentioned. Seeing all the old interfaces and screens in this video felt like a blast to the past.

  my family had 2 scene it games… we never played. My parents are not from america and english is their 3rd language. They expected their two oldest kids to learn (english was their second language) and teach the two younger kids who couldn’t read yet (me and other sibling). So we could “entertain” ourselves. i’ve always been intrigued by this game series

  That last part about how they're trying to turn it into a big confusing crypto scam with built in investment mechanics made my brain hurt. That's probably the dumbest crypto scam I have ever heard, who would want to invest that much time and money into a trivia game show? Who would even want to play a trivia game show more than a few times with freinds in passing that they have to lock in and buy their NFT avatars and fake dollars and other fake dollars and other other fake dollars? It boggles my mind what out-of-touch rich people think the average consumer will fall for.

  i came here exclusively for nickelodeon scene it and i am completely satisfied that it got the respect it deserves. one of my favorite things period as a kid. it was vaguely terrifying but also incredible. i played with the tokens as toys a lot too.

  I had nightmares about this game lmao. that one game in the cartoon version where you just see upright versions of the characters clothes without the character present themself. my 8yo self started imagining my friends and family disappearing and becoming upright versions of their clothes
