W1 Taekwondo

W1 Taekwondo

I am Master Adrian - a 4th Dan degree, former National Team Member, multiple National Champion and international medalist in Olympic sparring from Romania. With over 20 years of experience in the game, this channel represents a platform where I can share the knowledge, tips and skills I've learned and continue to learn throughout my Taekwondo journey. My goal is to share methods of training in Taekwondo for kids and people of all ages, but also what it takes to develop a winner's mindset. We will also share our students progress, as well as the way they train and compete at W1 Taekwondo Academy, located in Portland Oregon. Don't hesitate to reach out!

We are a culture. A winning culture.

At a tournament or sparring in class, I know being anxious is normal, to make someone anxious before a sparring match how can you make them feel more anxious than normal? Staring at their forehead or eyes?

I think you should focus more on your emotions than your opponents. Just try to compete at your best.

All you’ll likely need in a real fight. Jab, reverse punch, front kick. Seriously. If you can deliver that fast and with power, they’re not getting up

Possibly, but that's kind of a very narrow view. Most martial artists tend to try to prepare for multiple scenarios. Anything could happen

despite protecting your elbow, it is so natural and then powerful punch combined with good foot position, they teach the competition variation here
