This channel is an effort to capture and document an international road trip in an old Toyota Land Cruiser, originally starting in Canada. Now the truck is gone, and our next adventure is just around the corner.
This was an amazing vlog for me as I used to live in the Amazon from 1970 to 1972 as a Peace Corp Volunteer. I lived in Itacoatiara, Amazonas and have been back many times with my Brazilian wife from Itacoatiara. I plan on watching many of your videos as I like your style. We visited Boa Vista last year to see my wife's brother and his family. I hope you return to the Amazon.

Truth, and sorry. If you loved the puppy like a child, then you will be seperating sooner, or later. We lost a child , and wife left later. I think women see your weakness in grieving your loss, and lose respect for you. Two losses in a row ! Brace yourself !

I've done a bit of traveling and your videos just made my trips come back to life! Thogh now I'm 70 I wold not consider sleeping in a unfamiliar bead the okwardenes of parking in a unfamiliar place without a dog wold keep any one up all night, I found that Newziland was the best for vehicle camping we wold pull ower stove out in the middle of toune and do a barbecue and no one ever said any thing their are camper sites oll over and the locals are wear very friendly, Autralia on the other hand I found the rednecks a bit racists off course if you're going to document your trips you will never run out o places to go if you take a dog make sure he has a GPS locator dogs tend to run to its last familiar place and only stop when totaly egsoste and lost!

I thought about your adventure. We invest so much in those we love, our pets, we make them central in our life. Then the unforseen happens that we can't control...and they are gone. That's why we suffer. Your little friend however lived it's life full on every moment right to the end, feeling fear, joy and whatever came up.... didn't suffer, like you. I don't know if that helps, but time heals.

On 2019 I travel to Honduras and stayed there until July of 2020 due to covid 19. I found Honduras to be inctedible safe and beautiful. We drove around the whole country and always felt safe. We went back on May 2021 and stayed until July 2023. Again the same experience beautiful people and super safe. Policeman are 100xs nicer than say NYC police who are quite rude. I think that people who are afraid of their own shodaw should not be traveling around the world. The "Go Alone" couple they want to present like they are super brave by being in this great and dangerous adventure. I guess they want t write a book at some point & profit from it. Honduras is just like any other country I have visited. No more safer or no more dangerous . You just have to be careful, like in any other country on where you go. Honduras is as safe or as dangeeous as the USA or any european country. I have travel a lot and I was robed in USA. It is people like "Go Alone" that give a country a bad reputation. This is a perfect example of mis- representation of a country in monotone voice.

Oh yes in Brasil there's a LOT of fruits you won't have seen before. For the novice, a good place to get an impression is at a market stall. But I've even seen some in local supermarkets, the names of the fruits defying me. In big cities like São Paulo, you can get fully illustrated books in good bookshops, detailing all the fruits and where you find them.

This is truly one of the best travel documentaries made by a young couple that I have seen; and I watch a lot of travel docs. I subscribed already a third of the way into this charming, well filmed and edited video with intelligent, well thought out narration. Well done guys! I wish you great success and safe travels. Big hug coming at you from Alberta, Canada.
