I MOVED into my OLD TRUCK

I travelled 6 countries in 7 months after quitting my job and leaving home to start the roof ten van life, I finally have some time to sit down and look back on the trip. In this video I leave home and start the trip south. Hitting some off-road 4x4 trails on the way.

I will be uploading each new video in 1 week increments, every Friday. Covering everything from finding camping spots to run ins with police and the cartels. Follow along to watch the adventure of a lifetime, from a broke 23 year old.
This Toyota Land Cruiser is a 1994 KZJ78 imported from Japan, it has a no name roof tent, an awning I bought off amazon, and my clothes are in a plastic drawer system from Canadian Tire. This is my attempt at overlanding on a budget.
How do I (barely) afford this? I'll be putting out a video soon covering everything you need to know!

I love your stuff. Doing much the same stuff on a different schedule. Beaufort Sea to tip of Baja and back to SF. Mainland Mexico to Argentina and Brazil is next in 2025. I love photography and am interested i video blog and drone. DO you feel you are living the trip through the lease and setting up shots or is it just basic. I am a photographer but don't want to live my life through a view finder. A Vlog seems to be just that.

Hey CMore glad to hear from you man. Yeah I think it's tough personally to try and catch it all on video. That's why I dropped off for a while, I just wanted to enjoy myself so I kind of ditched trying to record and set up the camera all the time. But, after something like 6 months the travelling becomes a bit aimless if that makes sense, you need some purpose. Making videos give me something to do, especially now that I have some time to sit down so I can catch up on the videos.

Your license plate says "Friendly" Manitoba, surely the people you meet in all these places (even cartels) will surely take kindly to you right?

So far, the 3 times I've run into the cartel they've been very polite and professional. I don't support their actions just my experience, much nicer than the cops.
