Should have added a shim between the 2 halves before you bored the hole so you have a good clampdown on the bar. The material loss shouldn't affect the strength of the part. Anyway good work on customizing for your needs.
@@AccountSpace thank you !
Out standing....Very Cool...It's nice to share the info with other's...
Bike is lookin good !
@@DJPTEXAS thank you !
Very informative regarding the "runout". Beautiful hub!
Poor dog got dusted !
Beautiful! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I am down under in Australia, I have a brace (or two) of AJ S/Matchless singles and twins in the Workshop/shed. Nothing compares with the sense of satisfaction you attain when you take a 'basket case' motorcycle and completely restore it and take it for a ride. The old bikes are a living piece of machinery, as I trundle along a back road I take the time to think of the workers that toiled in the AMC factory week after week, manufacturing and assembling these motorcycles, if they ever thought the fruits of their labour would still be in use 75 yrs later and still admired. It's an old man thing, speed is nothing, enjoyment is everything.
Nice !
Thanks for coming out to the show Kyle. CBS is welcome anytime.
Live free and ride
so many vintage machines..
Venhill make cables nobody else will. Good choice of a vendor!
Showing my age. Dave Aldana said you never know how fast you can go until you fall off.
Looks like a lot of fun! Nice job on the video. Going down is always a risk when you push it, so we know you ride hard 👍
Love your bike...
Proper Triumph! Now it has patina! Good job kid! Come east and race with the USCRA! I am lead tech inspector. I race a Guzzi
I see you are upping your video quality game! Great vid, sorry you crashed man, but live and learn. Got a bonus coming from work so be ready to ship more parts to San Leandro!
Looks like Gary Nixon's 500.
Great work, living the dream!
Bike sounds good and the triple will sound even better.
Adding this to my shopping list
Very cool
You have a microphone in the helmet broadcasting into the GoPro ?
Lovely bike ! Fun video ! Thanks guys!
lowsided, I hope ??
Video on that soon
Great bike and video! What engine mods did you do besides increase compression? And would it start with a kicker if you had one on?
Lots of mods, too many to list to be honest - Ferrea valves, cams, pistons, etc thanks for watching !!
🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍✌️👌👏
Great video thanks for sharing.
Ah yes the Haynes manual "simply remove" = pain in the arse. In dreading doing mine.
No springs in the new pump? I figure there's a reason. Could you explain?
Springs are in the pump
@@classicbritishspares Makes sense. Awesome video and very nicely done race bike!
Fuck these fucking clips
Thanks for the update!! You are doing great work, it looked and sounded awesome before, and as a Track Bike - this will even better. Please keep us posted :-)
Great video - many congrats!! I don't agree with the "Age Limit" comment though!! :-) Have fun...
You've been busy, it's taking shape, looking good
great video, camera work, tech. explanation of your thinking. always enjoy the work as it's being done.
Kyle, you have become an outstanding Machinist! Got a very nice shop too. Glad to see the video, I saw that the oil cooler is exactly like the one I`m late in sending to you! And it has the original mounting brackets and rubbers. I`ll try to get it in the mail tomorrow! Always like your videos. Great rear sets too! Keep up the great work!
I have ZERO problems with your thinking and your implementation here. What I'm really interested is in the costmetics -i.e. tank/fairing/seat. Good luck!
Glad you're doing this. Very interested to see more updates!
Good stuff! The beast is taking shape! Gonna be fun!👍
I'm late
I have a 67 Bonnie, always use a straight 30 oil , never use a detergent oil in these engines as it can disturb particles in the crankshaft sludge trap . Never use sealant on anything with an oring /copper or fiber washer or any part of the engine with a gasket , I’m sorry but bad advice
Any brand new pump has got to be better than a potentially 60 year old original pump. I like the Morgo pumps myself, but yes it's always best to be safe than sorry, and pull them apart to confirm there's no fluff or swarf inside, and always prime and confirm flow before test riding 👍
question. if you had a 1956 BSA COMPETITION 500, brand new never even had oil in it. what do you think it’s worth?
This work in other engines? Like apache 160 or 200?
What bike.
Good stuff👍
Nice work !
🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏
Great job done by these guys at CBS!
Maybe you were rushed , but squeezing the disc rotors are the calipers the master cylinder is on the right clip on handlebar .
Huh?
