Music to my ears! I just returned from a 100-mile round trip drive in the Catoctin Mountains (Maryland) in my 2006 R53. Almost all of the route was twisty country roads! What could be better? 😊

Sounds great! I just found out that one of my Mini clubs (Oregon Mini Society) is planning a trip up to Seattle from Portland for the last day of MTTS. I'm trying to convince my wife that we should do that, but she's not thrilled but the idea of going back to Seattle after being there just days before. I may just do it by myself. 😀

Don’t get me wrong, I love my 2022 JCW Clubbie, but boy do I miss the whine of my 06 supercharged JCW MCS. Watching your test drive brought back some fond memories. Sadly the Guy with the Little Hands will not be doing MTTS this year, as much as I would love to. Have a blast!!

Great... now I'll have to get a sixth MINI I'll have to keep ahead of you and your collection ;-) Congratulations on your new (to you) R53 - I hear they're whiney (a good thing) supercharged MINIs are best MINIs!!! I wish I were able to make it to MTTS this year but can't swing the time and drive out West this year - perhaps 2026!

Thanks for the vid. I just purchased a 2024 F55 Mini Cooper S and got bummed when I couldn't use the armrest wireless charger. My phone couldn't fit in the charging station. I stumbled on your video after searching for a way to fix the small charger. Everything worked smoothly and problem free thanks to your vid. Just some tips is to pre-screw the shelf since the 3-D Printed center hole was very small. Use magnetic screw drivers so you don't drop the screws XD You helped fixed something that BMW didn't.

So the 3D print file is linked right in the description for you to download! You can take that file and print it yourself if you have a printer or send it off to any 3D printing service. I used shapeways and their metal printing option but really any place should be able to print that file!

Well I bought the ODB2 Link CX and installed the Bimmerconnect. Well I don’t have that option. I’m very disappointed. I don’t have the first menu item either, definitely don’t have the second. I went into every item and couldn’t find that at all.

Hey you seem like a nice kid. First of all your videos are way too long. Only your mother would want to watch you on screen that long. The second you accomplished nothing. Everyone finding your video wants to replace their battery without further issue. All you do is just demonstrate the wrong way to do it.
I am hardly a kid in my late 30's. Would be awesome if my mother did watch my videos! This is more of a vlogging channel. I do have instructional videos scattered throughout though. I will take your feedback into consideration.

Follow a question regarding the disassembly of the mirror you showed in the bonus footage... Do you have any idea how to remove the dimming knob? In order to get the board out it seems the only way is to break it and I'd really like to not do that
I only found the breaking method as well. I am sure there is an official way but I do not know of it unfortunately.
I have a 2022 Cooper SE - is there a mold to accommodate the electronic-handbrake? as it is a very small lever compared to the traditional cable handbrake/"e-brake".
That is very likely a different part number if it exists. I unfortunately don't know the answer to this one. Perhaps a mini service/parts person could look it up if you explained carefully what you are looking for (and it might be a EU part and not a US one)
or just buy same spec battery and wont be any proble4ms ...
