This looks interesting and quite a bit simpler than what I'm used to. Personally, I like all of my buttons and switches. It gives me a sense of being a fighter or space ship pilot. You know, you got to have your fantasies.😄

Thank you for this in-depth of the interior. Helped solidify some of my thoughts. Definitely concerned with the fabric dash with kids unfortunately! Love that Oled and toggles so much.

+1 thanks for the images and your thoughts. I like the evolution of the dashboard and controls. Not a big fan of the door panels but the vents on the passenger side look like the ones on the previous generation HR-V. Great video and keep ‘em coming 😊

Thanks for posting these images; I hadn't seen them before. Where are the AC vents for the driver?!? I don't like the low positioning of the door release handle. Also, I imagine now I'm going to have to start touching and getting fingerprints all over that center screen; I currently have a touch screen which I never touch (I use the circular controller next to the hand brake). And arm rests that attach to seats are always too high and never comfortable. I'm as underwhelmed with the interior as I was with the new exterior. I'm keeping my '21 JCW hardtop as long as I can.

Looks amazing to me. OLED display will be a quantum leap to what they currently offer

I have the problem with a dirty rear window and rear with all mini models (convertible and Clubman). As soon as a little rain comes, it splashes up to the roof line. Do you know a solution for this?

I like the new interior and the new display. But I still love my boys, my Coupe and Roadster still my favorite body style!!

Not sure if I like it or not🤔🤔🤔🤔concur, the window toggles should be placed back at central console.

I will stick with my 2012 S, ty

Countryman will start first and be available next year. 3-door and Aceman are still TBD because of their original production starting in China but hopefully being switched soon so they can hit stateside

Sorry but to me it looks like cost cutting on components/build savings and catering to a lifestyle purchase where fancy lighting and trim try and entice a younger demographic into a MINI. Your long time MINI buyer will only seek out the older generation models which have a real style and presence, I for one won’t be letting go of my F56 JCW for one of these. Better search for the model you want now before these come and send the second hand prices of earlier models only up.

@@MatthewChidester Just looking at the Ora Cat (wasn't even on my radar so thanks for mentioning it). It appears to have a much more practical interior: driver's side air vents, a central console controller, a nice big screen behind the steering wheel, well positioned door latch/handle.
