Love it! Really think they held to the countryman's design ethos

Looks great, I’d have considered one when my kids were growing up but now they’ve left home it’s the JCW Hatch for me 😊

I drive a 2021 countryman cooper s all4 and I hated the look of this new model at first but it’s really growing on me, it’s showing more of its BMW DNA than it’s MINI heritage

100% agree with you. I hope to purchase the ICE version 😃 it’s a beautiful design and cannot wait to see the JCW version

My first impression was "what the same as everyone else design is this?" Having looked at more vids including the BMW Launch Event video I understand what the intention is for the new Countryman. When the designer called it a "Family Car" is when my hesitance was fully realized. Glad I got my F60 SE. F54, R52.

I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to appeal to a slightly larger audience to gain new customers and keep the brand alive. And if you still wanted really different design, the cooper still stands out!

I want that Aceman so bad! Perfect size replacement for my R60

CM looks great, inside and out. Great design choices unlike the two door Cooper where they cheaped out.

“Hump” sounds negative. You should take the Mopar term of “Power Dome” ;)

I like it. Is the wireless charging pad bigger than the current model? It looked like your phone fit but what size phone do you have?

The pad is bigger for sure. It fit my Pixel 7 Pro (162.9 x 76.6 x 8.9 mm (6.41 x 3.02 x 0.35 in). It might struggle with taller phones than that as my P7P almost took up the entire width of the pad. But overall it is a better solution than the current armrest option.

@10:20. I have heard many call it a scuttle (once on the front fender) but it is unclear to me. Removing all animal skins from the Countryman is amazing given the quality of the synthetic leather (no petroleum products) used the manufacturing process.

I asked some folks that work for the brand and they didnt have an official name so I will continue to call it "The Blade" until it sticks! :-D

Why would you consider "aggressive" angular headlights a good thing? I'd prefer circle shaped friendly and happy headlights like the original Mini!

Meh, the Countryman has always had different shaped lights than the Cooper so this really has not changed.

Did I hear you right saying the mini Cooper isn’t coming to the us for years? That’s news to me!

Unfortunately. Until they can get the cars to be made in the UK, Germany or even potentially NA, we won't get them while they are made in China. I know MINI would like to get this solved sooner rather than later too.

COOL,,,,, BUT A BIT LIKE AN IPHONE 15 ,,,,PLASTICS ARE NOT LIKE THE OTHER COUNTRYMAN,

Terrible range. Screen isn’t that responsive. Design is conservative. Ioniq5 is way better. Model y is the one to buy. Can’t imagine playing the markup game withe dealer.

The interior is a disaster…looks like a toy…prefer the previous iteration with the switches and a more integrated center display…this looks like someone stuck a plate on the dash with some superglue…not a fan.

@@TheMINIVlog I hope so because the increased range is a great improvement over the current one…as is using the entire round shape vice the current iteration that gets severely shrunk due to the limited space for the screen to be rectangular…my favorite car I’ve owned to date was my Porsche that had more switches and buttons than a jetliner…I’ve also owned two Teslas and those were great too, but much prefer buttons, buttons, and more buttons…

Nice car but l wouldn't take the electric, bad for the environment.
