I gave Destiny 2 a gonot much after it became free. Got Shadowkeep, stopped in Season of the Worthy, because there wasn't much to do without paying again for content. I've been looking at going back to the game again, saw the expansion prices, ~60€ with heavy discounts, forgot about it, then quickly remembered that Epic gave away the Legacy Collection, so.. I just link my Steam account to my Epic and go from there, except I'd still need to buy the latest expansion for twice as much as I paid for Shadowkeep originally.

I remember on my first nezzy clear (in an lfg fireteam) I did the most damage and one guy with the full METAH loadout was impressed and added me. My loadout was quicksilver, igneous hammer, and the rocket launcher from gotd :] Just a nice story for ya

Then the new expansions came out and they wanted like 100 bucks for it.... are you fucking kidding me 100 bucks for an add on. Idk how some people have followed destiny 2 start to finish. I’m genuinely happy I never played old destiny. So mannnnnnny gatekeepers that act like it’s hard to get into. No it’s not, it’s as easy as it’s ever been. Or easier because of how much power you can get so quickly. And you still get easily 1000 hours out of the game. It’s not like the games gotten worse, if anything the rng has gotten better, so yeah I feel for you vets, but I’m thankful I never played that crap

People demanding others know what to do are usually the worst players, dawntrail just released for FF14 yesterday and I guarantee you already have party finders up for expert trials demanding you have clears yet if you join them they get dropped by every mechanic.

Solo Gambit can be fun if you have brain damage like me and just play your matches trying to win, but understanding that you can pretty easily tell from the first invade whether or not you have a chance at winning. Somehow despite everyone having access to heavy and an Invader 99% of the time invading into a team who should ALL have some heavy and special ammo reserved to deal with it, you watch them lose 30+ motes because they’d rather clear a wave than clear the bank or even acknowledge that an Invader is present.
