Welcome! We’re Andre and Lisa. A married South African couple who has been travelling together for almost 20 years, to more than 50 countries. In 2017 we took stock of our life and made the decision to 'retire early'. We gave up our professional careers and all our personal possessions in order to explore the world as full-time nomads. Over the past two years, we have been travelling through Europe with our 21-year-old Motorhome. Please subscribe to follow along and join us on our adventure!

Thank you, I'll try Amozon again, did see it at first!, stayed safe!
Aangenaam verras met julle video...baie dankie! Sal prettig wees om julle te vergesel op jul avonture...👍😃
Dankie! 😊
Looks like you will be going through Lensahn. If you do say hello for me lol. Long story. We were there in 2009. Greetings by the way from Stonehaven Scotland (en route to Orkney and Shetland). Peter and Angela (from Mojocar).
Hello Angela, so lovely to hear from you! We were so close to Lensahn but didn't go through there. Next time we'll say hi but we'll have to see you again before then to hear the long story! Hope you have a wonderful trip and keep well. 😊🤗
Good info re macoil. We’ll hopefully be heading through northern Germany into Denmark in the next couple of weeks. Looks like a good option for getting oil and filter changed. Hoping your gasket issue is easily sorted.
Yup, you really can't beat it for price or convenience! You might still catch up with us here in Jutland, come say hi! 😜
Lisa you are one brave lady! There is no way I’d let Ronnie anywhere near my hair ✂️ 😂😂😂😂
Lisa only ever lets me 'help' on occasion 😁 Truth be told, I don't trust her with my hair either. But after all these years on the road we get it right most of the time. Well, sort of 🤣
Hi, Don't go North too quickly, it's like the middle of January in the UK at the moment, it's probably better in Sweden though. Another top Class video, I look forward to the next one. 😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍
13C where we are right now 🥶 Guess summer has come and gone already 😁 Oh the irony that we had to sweat our way through Germany 🙃
@@WeWillNomad 😫 😄😄😄
Just found your channel and subscribed, you’re so generous with your knowledge and experience, thanks!! So weird watching this particular video of you at El Trabucador on the delta and seeing the Montsià mountains in the background. We live just on the other side of those mountains, off grid on a finca. Our thoughts are leading us to a life change. We want to cut ties with a permanent base (with so much land work!!) and are thinking of life on the road for a while. Your videos are inspiring as well as instructive 😻 And … I’m also South African!
Hi Nikki, thanks for your comment! It's funny how so many full time traveller dream of having a plot of off-grid land and on the flip side, those who have a base dream of "escaping"! We often talk about having a base but we're definitely not ready to give up the freedom that our current lifestyle offers us. There are many challenges living a nomdic lifestyle and it's not for everyone, but we can recommend giving it a try - after all, nothing is permanent and sometimes a change is as good as a holiday! All the best with your decision making and planning and hopefully many happy travels! 😊
Hi, I'm interested in getting the TITAN ttc-sc60, but it only seems to be available in Germany and they don't ship to Ireland! Any ideas pls, tnx ,safe travels!
Hi Pieter, it's available from Amazon.uk shipping to Ireland but we're also trying to get a discount voucher for UK, so will post that for you here as soon as we receive it from TITAN!
i skal være velkommen til Danmark
Thank you very much! 😊
I dont think we will get a warm summer this year in Denmark 😊. But welcome anyway.
Thank you! We will try to bring the sunshine with us! 😍
Welcome back , great video , passed us , we on way back to UK 😀😀😀
Thanks! Hope you had a good trip! 😊
Aww great little clog guys… Lisa you are daring!!! Love your new hair cut … but I do love it longerntoo🥰 Andre your hair standing up in the morning is cute … usually hidden under youre hat 😘 Love the little village houses.. so old and full of character! And chef is always at the ready .. bravo 🙏 Thanks for sharing as always 🚌🌎🧡
Hair cutting days are both exciting and frightening 😁But we give it a go and (mostly) end up with.. something 😁 That's the real reason for wearing hats regularly.
@@WeWillNomad hehe yeah I wear a hat on a bad hair day too!
Thanks for your lovely videos😊😊
Thank you Michael, what a nice welcome to Denmark! 😊
I hate kouign Amman 😂😂😂
Wow Lisa, my missus would kill me 🙀✂️😉
🤣 Only if it doesn't work out! My gran always said "don't worry, it will grow back"! 😜
I love travelling with you guys❤
Thank you for travelling along! 😍
Great video 😊
Thanks! 😊
I know Sweden and Poland very well (plus Central Europe) - I can recommend a nice route with some cute towns for you to add to your itinery after Denmark, whenever you start to make your way south again (in case you find the suggestions interesting). All of these places are really beautiful, and should be quite camper-friendly! Here's a few names, but feel free to ask me if you'd like more detailed information... Sweden: Lund, Åhus, Karlskrona (you can explore the archipelago with your motorhome - the car ferries are generally free), Kalmar, Öland; then back to Karlskrona to get the Stena Line ferry to Gdynia, Poland (where I live!). Poland: Trojmiasto/Tri-City = Gdynia, Sopot, Gdansk; then Malbork to see the castle, and on to Torun. An overnight in Łodz, then Bielsko Biała - at which point you're at the foot of the Tatras! Just about every route through the high Tatras is amazing, with plenty of free stops everywhere... Slovakia: Make your way over to the Slovakian side (even more dramatic than the Polish mountains), and then maybe head towards Eastern Hungary via Košice. Hungary: Nyíregyháza, Debrecen. Romania: Cross into Romania, spend a few days around Oradea (magical!), and then through the country to the coast, via - Cluj, Sibiu, Sighișoara, Brașov; and if you feel like a big, Old World capital, then Bucharest too. Following the coast south through Bulgaria, then west and into the Balkans/Greece...
This is great! Thank you so much for the effort. We're making notes and will definitely make use of your suggestions.
I still hate Andre, how can he turn out such an amazing brekkie with so few ingredients. He has to be cheating.....
🤣 Men are annoyed when I make them look bad, woman get sour when they realise their husbands could never be this awesome. It's no wonder we don't have any friends. 😁
Great vlog again, guys. Our paths keep crossing, but we never seem to be in the same vicinity at the same time. We just moved into Germany from luxemburg. Andre, cutting Lisa's hair was amazing. Is there anything you can't do 😂. Take care and enjoy Denmark as you usually do 👍
Thanks! Maybe you'll catch up with us in Denmark? 😊
Wow! Very good video! Avocado is from Central and South America. In Brazil we have a big one, named Abacate. But here, we eat like a fruit, even in sweet taste, never with salted food.
Thanks for your comment! Out of season most of the avocado around Europe comes for the Americas. We often see them marked as from Peru. Sometimes we see some from Kenya as well. During season there are more available coming from Spain. Where we are from (South Africa) avocados are grown all year round, but the best crops are during winter. We mostly find Hass or Fuerte (sometimes Pinkerton) which seems to be more suited to savoury flavours.
Another great watch. Keep up the good work guys. It’s inspiring my camper van fund! 😄
Thanks for watching! 😎
Thanks I enjoyed the trip though Germany 🇩🇪 very clean etc. Lisa is brave allowing you to cut her Hair 😊 a bit more Practice n you could go mobile Hairdressing 😅 Stay Free and Safe Travels 😀 🙏 ✨
Germany very clean
@@nicolettastrada5976 Well what I saw looks Clean 👀 I wasn't there 😕 but ?
Thanks Mike! As long as everyone wants a brush cut hairstyle, I'm in! 😁
Great 2 c u going north. Hope the gasket got salted 😂
Thank you! 😎
Can’t wait for you lovelies to be back in Denmark 🥳 did you know that Denmark consists of 444 islands? You have plenty to see yet. ☀️🌸
Thanks Anne! Wow, that's a lot of islands! We are hoping to explore a few this year but we may have to return fire many years to come to see them all! 😜😍
Roligt att följa er på eran resa. Danmark är underbart. Drive carefull.😊😊😊😊
Thanks Roland, we're looking forward to Denmark! 😊
Entertaining vid. 👍 I've just got back from Jerez, one week was 37-38c every day, l spent most of the month escaping to the coast, lots of vans near Cadiz where it was 10c cooler.
Thanks! We remembered the area around Cadiz being packed. It's always surprising how much cooler it can be at the coast. Hope you had a good time 😊
@@WeWillNomad Lots of space across the bay in Puerto Real & Puerto de Santa Maria.
Another great watch thanks, a few words of advice though, stick to cutting grass not hair 😃😃😜
🤣🤣
Hello! Welcome to Denmark. We have been following you for a long time. Last year, you were not in Sjaelland, where we live about 1.5 hours from the Stora Bält bridge. It would be nice to meet you for a short meeting. We drive to Northern Norway on August 2 for a 3-week holiday. Waiting for the next video clip from you. Hugs from Denmark
Thank you! We would like to visit Sjaelland again this year but we might not make it there by 2 August. If we do it would be lovely to meet. Feel free to send us an email so we can get in touch. Hope you will also have a great holiday in Norway! 😊
Velkom to Denmark ❤❤❤
Tak! We cannot wait! 😍
Me and my boyfriend are planning a trip there in september. My question is where did you park, where is this parking space on the video... I was searching on google maps but there are a lot of identical buildings and parking lots... I need your help
No problem! We parked close to the Monastery of Varlaam - right here: maps.app.goo.gl/naKMQou2FqN8sBTE8
Dear friends, Thank you very much for the interesting series about Sardinia.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for following our trip! ❤️😎
Hi, I've just watched your vlog ! Amazing with a lot of very useful information as we are going to Morocco later this year. Could you be kind and let me know how to find travel agent Carlos for ferry booking:) ? We are travelling with our son and daughter for 2 years now and winter in Morocco is what we want do to for sure . All the best
Awesome, glad you have found it useful! You can find Carlos's office here: maps.app.goo.gl/rLf2LBY7sYeyXDt99

Nice to have back, good video, very informative ✅
😎 thanks!
Thank you for sharing your trip around Sardinia. We are going to Italy in autumn and I have previously followed you around Puglia. I am just wondering about how you connect to the internet. We have previously bought a sim card on arrival, but it was a bit expensive. I would appreciate your opinion. Have a great trip to Denmark.
Hi Patricia! Internet is an ongoing challenge for us. As we tend to travel slow, we tend to get local prepaid sim cards (YOIGO in Spain, MEO in Portugal, FREE in France, etc). In some countries (Italy, Germany) it's a bit more difficult. For us, Italy is our 'home' country and we have lots of data when there. We also always use our Italian sims for personal connectivity when outside of Italy but get a local sim for our van wifi - in Denmark we will get the Lycamobile sim as it's the easiest to manage. If you don't use a lot of data then your home sims roaming quota might be enough.
🥰
I'm so glad that you enjoyed Sardinia, its on my bucket list thanks to you guys. I've just taken a look at your website. Wow, how do you guys get the time. Its amazing, so well laid out and informative. Millie still looks amazing, stay safe and looking forward to the next video.
Thanks Ronan! People ask us all the time 'don't you guys get bored? You know, with being on 'vacation' all the time?' 🤣 Well, we're definitely NOT bored. The amount of time that have gone into that website is beyond incalculable. But I guess we just like to suffer 😁
I can't find out where to buy in Europe
Unfortunately RAD Bikes are no longer operating in Europe. They are only in North America now. A real pity.
In september the water it Is warmer but the days lights short. Isola Elba in front of Toscana it is beautiful too with the green water.
Grazie Marco! If we have the choice then colder water and longer days is probably better! Thanks for watching! 😊
We really enjoyed your trip through Sardinia. Could you give me some detail about your bike carrier please? We have two roadrunners and find it difficult to find either an easy to use hitch or aframe mounted rack for them. Does it take long to attach, unattach and set up the bikes?
Hi David! We have a Fiamma 4 bicycle rack with 4 mounting points on the back of the van. We modified the 4 racks into 2 to fit the longer wheelbase of the cargo bike. It is tricky to find an arrangement of the bikes that is nice and secure but it works for us. It takes about 10 min to remove or pack back!
I agree Sardinia is fantastic We were there in 22 and had a wonderful time definitely going back, last year we were on Sicily that was amazing but I do agree about the garbage it was terrible on Sicily on the main roads at just general stops on the road pilled up
Hi Kevin! What time of the year were you in Sicily? We have been there but not yet with the camper so it's still on our list. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@WeWillNomad Hi we were there July /August at the hottest time due to wife's holidays but still had a fantastic time
hello, at home we really like you Sardinia a destination for our future also by motorhome 🙏 Thanks for the tips to take into account in Italian lands We await the next video from Danish lands!!! kisses
Thank you very much for your lovely comment! ❤️
Unfortunately I have had throat cancer and can’t swim anymore, so I doubt if I will go to Sardinia but am very pleased that you have and shared your experience with me. I’m currently in my motorhome touring the UK from my base in France.
Ah that's a pity, sorry to hear about that. Hope you have a great time in the UK! We have not been there yet with our motorhome.
Thank you!
Great lowdown. You'll be back 4sure😁
We hope so!
Great video 👌🙏 when and where are you in Denmark?
Thanks! We're still in Germany at the moment but hope to reach Denmark in the next week. No real fixed plan or route but we'll probably travel around Jylland (and Nørrejyske Ø) for most of July before moving on to Fyn and Sjælland.
@@WeWillNomad okay we leave Sweden on August 26 to go to Portugal. it would have been fun to see you on the road and maybe treat you to a cup of coffee and a Swedish fika. Your channel is our favorite channel and we get inspired by your travels.
@@ondayslikethis-mirotallvod9447 ❤️thank you! Let's see what happens end of August, you never know. Stay in touch!
I watched your whole trip and I thought you made a good job of keeping up a good reputation in respect of Campervan values, so well done. Conversely, the ridiculous local attitude to rubbish is infuriating. Petty arguments over places to dispose of rubbish that is effectively sold along with goods in the local shops is so short sighted. No doubt, someone in charge is on the wrong side of right here and needs to be removed and a new person with eyes to see the obvious given a chance to change the attitude of the council. Still, you managed to find and reveal some brilliant places to stop overnight, so well done you, and thank you for putting in the effort to produce some great quality video. Cheers 👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦
Thanks for that 👍A great irony is the sheer volume of packaging you find in Italian supermarkets. To be fair, Italy is not unique in this regard. Another country where we often really struggle is Germany - especially in the small towns and rural areas. There is virtually no publicly accessible recycling. But we try our best to be responsible and respect the regions we visit.
We absolutely loved Sardinia!
❤️
Thank you both great vlog 2028 we plan to take year out and travel defiantly putting on the list of places to visit
Brilliant! Part of the fun is the planning 😎
