Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I have a question regarding my setup. I have a MikroTik router with two PPPoE connections and I'm using PCC for load balancing. I want to use WireGuard on this router to make it the main server. My goal is to achieve a site-to-site VPN where, for example, when a client server (like another MikroTik router) connects, it can utilize both PPPoE connections' upload speeds simultaneously. I've heard this might not be possible. Is that correct? Please let me know. Thank you in advance!

man i have a question: 16:21 , how did you manage set dhcp-server on slave interface ? Because LAN is included LAN-BR-VL10 bridge. When i tried to do that, mikrotik gave error " Interface is slave"

mate with all due respect to your effort I must say that you've done wrong writing routes from A to B and etc. For example on A side in routes you wrote to B local network (172.16.20.0/24): Address=172.16.20.0/24 gateway=WG-MikroTikA and the same from B side to A. I think that's wrong, the gateway to remote local network behind vpn should be the IP address of the remote interface. From A to B the gateway should be the B vpn ip address 192.168.32.2/24)
Hi! Great video... one suggestion.. could you make a video/test lab on configuring CRS1xx (CRS112) with inter vlan connections with switch chip? There are so many configs/tutorials on VLANs with bridging vlans but through the switch chip.. not so many.. ok.. crs112's can be seen as 'legacy' devices but they really help a lot when configuring simple networks with intervlans (several vlans like office, guests, cameras...). That would be a great deal! :) Tx

I noticed that the linuxserver/unifi-controller has been deprecated. Should I consider deploying the newer linuxserver/unifi-network-application or use the deprecated controller? Since I will be setting this up as new (not restoring) should I use the latest mongo db?

wireguard mk 1 and wireguard mk 2 with android client, i have access to both local lan (0.1/24 and 4.1/24). But wireguard site to site with mk1 and mk2, cannot access local lan. Pc(0.8) mk1 dont acess pc Pc(4.5) mk2. Any help?

Does this work on v7.11? I just tried this and doesn't seem to work.
You can also accept all input from the IPs of MGMT-range, then set another rule to finally drop all remaining packets, without designating any in/out interface.

In 2024 - OpnSense has been using the latest version of FreeBSD way before PFSENSE. - In 2023-2024 Pfsense recommended everyone moved over to PFSENSE plus, so they did, they then said you shouldn't (screwed everyone). - Pfsense is less open-source in 2024 than OpnSense. - Pfsense in 2024 will absolutely mess up your routers config if you add another NIC to your Proxmox virtualisation server, it absolutely shits itself. - Opnsense tends to get more newer stuff sooner than pfsense. - Opnsense developers are more active in the community than pfsense.

Using a Hex POE. While this configuration "works", it is not clear that takes advantage of hardware offloading. Is this method running in software/cpu only on the HEX POE? The QCA8337 "Switch" configuration as suggested in the Mikrotik documents is not working for IP connectivity to the HEX POE (tried the vlan-header=leave-as-is per the footnote) Any advice?
