How'd you get your bow on 60 accuracy? Mine can only go up to 49 crafting it this way. Yours got really good stats

I'm hoping for more craftable bows in the energy slot. We just got Tripwire Canary and I hope there are more to come with dragonfly since it triggers elemental damage instead of kinetic like with the Fel Taradiddle.

This is the video that made me go farm the remaining two red borders for the Fel Taradiddle. I like the bow but I thinks it's because I like the lightweight bow model. Whispering Slab with good accuracy was my first choice in the kinetic slot, but Taradiddle "feels" better. I only wish there were more options for the lightweight frame in the energy slot for synergy with the subclasses. We just got Tripwire Canary so I'm trying to farm out all five red borders for that one.

I believe they did a stealth change to the stats. When I simulate a reroll my stats are different as well. I may be doing a Bows FAQ video soon and will address this, as well as all the comments asking if traits allow bows to go beyond the minimum draw time (hint, they do and bungie has stated as such).

***UPDATE*** It would seem that the base stats were nerfed at some point during Season of the Haunted. The highest I can now get accuracy on my bow is now also 51.

best suggestions i’ve heard after looking at several god roll guides. i’m at level 16 and with same choices as you I have impact 68, accuracy 49, stability 47, handling 65, reload speed 60, draw time 540. level 20 makes a big difference

Yeah... level 20 gives an extra "tier" on the stat... best levelling suggestion I can give aside from just using it: Shuro Chi with deadfall void hunter.

Does your bow still have 66 accuracy? mine's at 51. I looked up the bow on d2 gunsmith and then added all the perks but I still see 51 accuracy on it. Maybe stats are different on console? Edit: Nvm. I should've checked comments lol

Yeah... just double and triple checked everything... seems as though the base stats got nerfed... in the video the base accuracy was much higher than the 24 it now starts at.

I built the same exact bow, why do i only have 49 accuracy? (all other stats also are way lower) Does it need to be lvl 20 for the masterwork to "activate"?

Choosing your intrinsic frame is part of it, but then hitting level 20 will unlock some bonus stats.

I love the fact that they gave us a precision void bow and it just so happened to be craftable, but now I am spoiled and want the rest! (Grinding out vanguard rep in hopes that I get 2/3 traits in each of the columns for the new solar bow until I get my wish though).

Really thorough video. Im just not getting into bows so I was wondering why my stats don’t match the ones in the video. I have every trait but my accuracy is only 46 at level 20. Is it a bug?

A few things could be happening here. First, make sure you are using the right string/shaft, next if you are using the same third and 4th column traits as me then make sure they are the enhanced traits for the extra stats. Finally, in this season there seems to be a bug or 2 with the crafting system options so it could just be that in which case I don't have a definite answer for you on that short of reporting it if you can track what is/is not causing it.

Doesn't draw time cap out at 540 for all bows anyways. I remember doing research on this a while back. I think it was 648 draw time to fully take advantage of archer's tempo. Not sure if the same applies to Successful warm-up. If the same applies too successful warm-up then you would want something higher than 700 draw time to fully take advantage of the perk synergy. I just remember 540 draw time with archer's tempo being a waste on lightweight frames.

For lightweight frames they cap do indeed cap at 540. Precision frames cap at 576 (Under Your Skin)

this aligns with my testing and the forums I have gone through as well, but there are 2 things you have to keep in mind... first it is diminishing returns, so you will notice more at higher draw times than you will at the lower ones second is that it does speed up the actual numbers and reflects in the resulting damage/falloff/arrow drop, but the animation will only get so fast, so you have to "feel" the right time to release your arrow to realize the full benefit

Hey, so I'm following along and when you get to choosing stats, you choose 100 mobility and 100 int. For me I can't do that, if I say 100 mobi I can only get 50 int. Am I doing something wrong?

I would guess you either need to choose your mods/3.0 fragments to get the extra stats or you just don't have the gear available to hit those stat levels.

I noticed that you did not consider any perks giving benefit to reload. I am not sure how impactful it is, but couldn't you in theory hit min draw time, then invest in more reload to decrease nock time and effectively further increase rof?

I have had those conversations a few times, and have personally never noticed much of a difference in reload having that much of an impact with the kind of numbers that could be achieved with what is left after hitting fastest draw time, but have definitely noticed the damage drop off/aim assist from the accuracy missing on a lightweight bow. Decent thought though.

@@Wolvie1079 iirc bows do not have damage drop off, they have accuracy drop off which as you could probably guess makes it harder to hit shots the further your are. hence why bows range stat is replaced with an accuracy stat

Only if you want the raid specific perks. Typical stuff like rapid hit, subsistence, vorpal, dragonfly, etc would use the usually elements.

Only vid on KZread I’ve seen that actually took into account the stat bumps you get at level 20. This is exactly how I planned to build my bow. Every other “god roll” vid I’ve seen left stats on the table.

Yeah, seriously. I couldn't figure out what to do with this bow... even though it's in primary slot and light weight.. I didn't want to just build it like every other bow. It feels weak and I'm looking to beef it up. I love bows... so I'd like to use it. Especially since it's origin trait is pretty nice imo. I was thinking of using it just to debuff with the origin tbh. I was also thinking explosive head with it for shielded enemies like knights and phalanxes... I think it'll do well and feel a little better with an actual purpose.

I was considering making one on it but most vids on that one are correct: Elastic, Fiberglass, Archers Tempo, Explosive. I will make one anyways with some detail on the comparisons though if you think it would be useful.

With the raid weapons being what they are, and the ability to craft your own 5/5 god roll I don't mind that 5 are needed, just need to make sure the guaranteed deepsight chest is spawned and have some spoils of conquest on hand for the first run of each week. It is almost nicer than having to grind out Wellspring (I call them Hellspring) for those 4 weapons.
