***UPDATE*** It would seem that the base stats were nerfed at some point during Season of the Haunted. The highest I can now get accuracy on my bow is now also 51.

Only vid on KZread I’ve seen that actually took into account the stat bumps you get at level 20. This is exactly how I planned to build my bow. Every other “god roll” vid I’ve seen left stats on the table.

Yeah, seriously. I couldn't figure out what to do with this bow... even though it's in primary slot and light weight.. I didn't want to just build it like every other bow. It feels weak and I'm looking to beef it up. I love bows... so I'd like to use it. Especially since it's origin trait is pretty nice imo. I was thinking of using it just to debuff with the origin tbh. I was also thinking explosive head with it for shielded enemies like knights and phalanxes... I think it'll do well and feel a little better with an actual purpose.

thank you, atleast someone in youtube did the actual calculation before suggesting god rolls.

This is the video that made me go farm the remaining two red borders for the Fel Taradiddle. I like the bow but I thinks it's because I like the lightweight bow model. Whispering Slab with good accuracy was my first choice in the kinetic slot, but Taradiddle "feels" better. I only wish there were more options for the lightweight frame in the energy slot for synergy with the subclasses. We just got Tripwire Canary so I'm trying to farm out all five red borders for that one.

best suggestions i’ve heard after looking at several god roll guides. i’m at level 16 and with same choices as you I have impact 68, accuracy 49, stability 47, handling 65, reload speed 60, draw time 540. level 20 makes a big difference

Yeah... level 20 gives an extra "tier" on the stat... best levelling suggestion I can give aside from just using it: Shuro Chi with deadfall void hunter.

Same I don’t have those stats unless Bungie stealth nerfed.. Acc. 51, Stab. 49, Hand. 67. My bow is level 20

I am a bit of a bow junkie and prefer the precision bows, but crafted the way I want it this one is "passable" :) LOL

I would be curious if one could do a similar build for "Under Your Skin." I understand that there is a difference in the frames, however, beyond that what are your thoughts? Or perhaps you've made one already.

I was considering making one on it but most vids on that one are correct: Elastic, Fiberglass, Archers Tempo, Explosive. I will make one anyways with some detail on the comparisons though if you think it would be useful.

However, I must say, you do an excellent job of communicating and educating in your video. Your analysis is superior. Really thorough video. Im just not getting into bows so I was wondering why my stats don’t match the ones in the video. I have every trait but my accuracy is only 46 at level 20. Is it a bug?

A few things could be happening here. First, make sure you are using the right string/shaft, next if you are using the same third and 4th column traits as me then make sure they are the enhanced traits for the extra stats. Finally, in this season there seems to be a bug or 2 with the crafting system options so it could just be that in which case I don't have a definite answer for you on that short of reporting it if you can track what is/is not causing it.

How'd you get your bow on 60 accuracy? Mine can only go up to 49 crafting it this way. Yours got really good stats

I noticed that you did not consider any perks giving benefit to reload. I am not sure how impactful it is, but couldn't you in theory hit min draw time, then invest in more reload to decrease nock time and effectively further increase rof?

I have had those conversations a few times, and have personally never noticed much of a difference in reload having that much of an impact with the kind of numbers that could be achieved with what is left after hitting fastest draw time, but have definitely noticed the damage drop off/aim assist from the accuracy missing on a lightweight bow. Decent thought though.

@@Wolvie1079 iirc bows do not have damage drop off, they have accuracy drop off which as you could probably guess makes it harder to hit shots the further your are. hence why bows range stat is replaced with an accuracy stat

I built the same exact bow, why do i only have 49 accuracy? (all other stats also are way lower) Does it need to be lvl 20 for the masterwork to "activate"?

Choosing your intrinsic frame is part of it, but then hitting level 20 will unlock some bonus stats.

Does your bow still have 66 accuracy? mine's at 51. I looked up the bow on d2 gunsmith and then added all the perks but I still see 51 accuracy on it. Maybe stats are different on console? Edit: Nvm. I should've checked comments lol

Yeah... just double and triple checked everything... seems as though the base stats got nerfed... in the video the base accuracy was much higher than the 24 it now starts at.
