This style reminded me of Dronebixie. Sweet tutorial.
i cant wait to check them out and btw your preview tracks are KILLA my friend :)
@@octogoat7651 thanks man!! I hope you will enjoy them!
amazing work - these kicks are top notch.
Sounds amazing bro :) need to try that one. Do you remember where you got the feedback network from? I can't find it with Google must be part of some pack. Maybe you can right click show in places. Thx
It’s from the free ‘Pluggo’ pack
@@MuteProduction Thank you :)
Amazing work as usual, keep up
How do fight the post-ringing from the processing that causes the notes to overlap with each other? Is resampling into audio and cutting the tails for those notes an option for this?
in my opinion post ringing is actually not a problem. Phase shift is a good thing imo. But with these forest basses i am usually not doing very much to cause dispersion in the lows because it turns the lows into more a hum rather than a clear low frequency pulse with each bass note. To answer the question about cutting tails, I would recommend against totally cutting sample tails like that because it will just introduce very low frequencies that will ruin low end clarity. Instead if you **must** reduce post ringing then use a gentle fade or some release in the sampler to create a smooth fade out at the end of the sample. Do not be afraid of overlap between bass notes, it is *not* a problem.
Sounds awesome! Grato job
best kicks for forest <3
🍻
These sound phenomenal! ⚡
@@Skanoh thanks man, that’s a relief to hear, i spent months on these 😅
@@MuteProduction loading them up now :D
Smashing. Can you make tutorial for a full on synth and fx??
ooo I like that serum skin!
@@fallenleaf24 one day i’ll finish making that skin and release it!
@@MuteProduction oh it's yours! fucking hell mate great work! no wonder I couldn't find it! xD its a nice take on the default. I always end up back on the standard skins. or ones that haven't deviated to much from them! whenever you do so you will have at least one download xD
@@fallenleaf24 yeah i’m with you on that. there are so many cool skins but in the end i find they just distract me from the flow.
@@MuteProduction yes. simplicity & contrast is all you need, with simple colours so you can find you way around easier! this is why I love polyverse! they feel good to look at xD
@@fallenleaf24 for sure. design is important!
Love it 🧡 Volle Kraft Sound 🔥🕺
sick
Hey man, the link to download this plugin says it needs to be updated......any chance you have a file type that you can share to be able to use this on a mac?
Thanks for awesome video! Question: What could be the reason that Velocity effect doesn't affect the velocity? Nothing happens when i tweak the output range. I changed the velocity for the bass notes in the midi patch, still no effect!
is velocity mapped properly with serum?
Please share the link,it's not available.....it will be really helpful if you guide us to the device. Thank you.
so grateful for these videos man! very skilled and its a big help and gets me trough those creative blocks learning a new technique to explore! thank you bro. I would really love to see a in depth video by you on how you get each sound to sit in its spot in the mix without clashing with other sounds, youre great at it. Im just getting back into writing forest after some years with no laptop and ive even forgotten what levels the kick and bass should be at, as they are the elements that everything else is built around. from memory the kick should be around -12ish? and bass -10/-11ish? many thanks legend
feedback network, can't find it
it’s in the M4L Pluggo bundle
Beautiful sounds, trying this out tonight for sure!
Very inspiring! Thank you!
How you do these beautiful kick turns, I thought it was a very characteristic sound from Forest as I also produce the same genre!
But why can't you just automate instead of tweaking while recording. I am pretty sure all those parameters are automatable
it’s more fun
whats going on with the bluescreen at 1:28 :D
mind blowing forest sound brother 🤯🙏🏻
One tip to refresh ones ears throughout the session, is just to avoid letting the music play for longer than need be, and at a not too loud volume. I start and stop the audio quite frequently to get contrast and perspective. I don't just let the audio run, if I don't actually have a reason for it to do so. If I've made a full arangement, and want to listen and feel the whole track through to analyze and detect what's missing or needs change, then I'll look away from the screen and zone out at the window while listening. In this way visuals on the screen won't cloud my judgement, and I can hear the parts more together as one track this way. Also if I'm unsure if a sample sounds good to me, then looking away will also give me a more honest perspective. But sure, after 2-4 hours it might still be a good idea to take a break, or stop and work on it the next day with fresh ears. If one starts feeling a bit of burn-out, then it's a clear sign, that one needs to do something else. Either working on another track, or do something unrelated to music/sound 😅
thank you
🙏🏻could you pls put a download link for the Feedback Net !? 🙏🏻🙏🏻
hey mate could you link the max for live device? i cant find a downlink anywhere somehow:)? best regards
i feelt the pain at 1.28

You won't be able to use it without Max For Live
So good 🙏🏻 would be lovely to have a tutorial for the first bass fx, such an interesting sound🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Intro Fx sounds awesome, have you made a tutorial covering something like this?
Great video man! Can you make a Tutorial how you make these incredible Bass sounds like at 0:27 to 0:29 ? Love these :D
for real
Fuck that's Great 🔥
it’s a very open ended technique :) great for when you need some inspiration
@@MuteProduction yes man absolutely! I really love cherry picking in my workflow and this technique is like a cherry tree !! :)
So good. Thanks for sharing this info!
where to find this feedback network?
search for M4L Pluggo bundle
✨✨❤❤
Too good bro! Straight to the point :D That track is sounding crazy af!
Amazing, thanks for sharing ! Where we can find "Feedback Network" ?
It’s in the free ‘Pluggo’ bundle
@MuteProduction I am a crack user of live haha it will be possible that you can upload the pack some download link? I know it is too much to ask
your content is so appreciated mate, please keep it coming :)
Thanks man, it’s great to hear that 🍻
Bro i cant find this device
Look for Pluggo bundle
Those are also suited for other styles right? (i feel kinda insecure with kickdesign)
the process can be altered for different style kicks. this video just covers a dark style kick. I might cover a more Fullon type kick in the future.
VST alternative for those not on Ableton? What is it exactly, MB grain delay?
as far as i understand it’s a group of parallel band passes going into delays with 100% feedback. I will see if i can find an alternative that works in all daws. You can get very similar results by forcing your daw to feedback via routing and then using bandpass and distortion
@@MuteProductionthanks! I'm guessing the different module levels parameters control the cutoff of the bandpass and the delay time Ngl I love the whole atmos it made
Not gonna lie, I ain''t a Psy guy, which may have you asking why I'd give this channel a try, and not just say goodbye, which would cause Mute Productions to cry, and make him say my oh my. Truth is, firstly I ran out of coherent-ish rhymes, but anyone NOT checking out these vids owing to genre bias is missing out BIG time. Such great creativity is the standard here, and, whilst Soulful House, Melodic Techno/House, and Prog House are much more my bag, if you don't find inspiration by the wheelbarrow load here, your production must be Uber flat. Roll on 100k subs when folk wake up to the idiocy of genre bias. Or, rather they stay in the stinking little lane, so I alone can elevate my track content and possess all the precious rings of Mordor, and RULE THE WORLD Rave!!! 🤠
Thanks for sharing
feedback network? couldnt find it anyhwere, maybe is in a max4live pack? edit: it is in "Max for Live Pluggo for Live" pack
it’s in the free Pluggo pack
cool
Amazing!! Substitute for feedback network? User bitiwig ...
