[Vital tutorial] How to make Glassy Psytrance Leads

Heres a super easy way to make Glassy Psytrance Leads! You can get endless different textures and timbres from this technique, it's one of my favourites!! N.B This technique can be achieved with any synth that has unison, but Vital makes the process quick and easy with the resynth mode!

the sweep at 3:12 is giving me hard core GMS vibes from 96 The final tone is giving strong Oforia vibes too! Damn Im so glad for this, Old school Goa at the cusp of when Goa started to become Psytrance. I remember the partys in Goa well 95 - 98 incredible years for this music.

This is a great one!! I think I hear some kind of 'swirling' like detune. Did you also modulate the wavetable position as well in your initial example? I tried recreating the lead including the detune setting (30) but was missing that swirling feel.

Awesome! But how did you go about the gating and rhythms for this patch as used in the playthrough? It sounds super rhythmic and randomly generated, would love to learn how to implement that with this patch to get similar results...!

What is the point of having x16 unison with no retune? Surely that just adds amplitude? Or are the unison voices phased according to the random phase? Am I missing something?
