[Vital tutorial] How to make Glassy Psytrance Leads
Heres a super easy way to make Glassy Psytrance Leads! You can get endless different textures and timbres from this technique, it's one of my favourites!! N.B This technique can be achieved with any synth that has unison, but Vital makes the process quick and easy with the resynth mode!

Sound design doesn't have to be complex, this is a great example :D!

Was looking for this kind of Sound for so long! Actually a relief rn. Thanks a lot!

absolutely delicious track man. id love to hear this project
the sweep at 3:12 is giving me hard core GMS vibes from 96 The final tone is giving strong Oforia vibes too! Damn Im so glad for this, Old school Goa at the cusp of when Goa started to become Psytrance. I remember the partys in Goa well 95 - 98 incredible years for this music.
thank you soo much, soo much inspiration.
You are the man

love the video ... where can I find this vital skin?
Another great tutorial Shep. Kick ass sound and easy to follow. For us non-Ableton users, what button did you hit in the DAW at 4.13 which widened the sound?

I sent the sound to a ping pong delay :)

@@MuteProduction Thought so but just wanted to check. I gave that a try and all I can say is Ableton's native delay seems to be much better than FL's. Thanks again!

Yaa
It was awesome bro, also channel 26(serum) has amazing sound can you make tutorial about that.?peace and love

I’ll add it to my list, by the way all the sounds are from my upcoming serum preset pack :)
This is a great one!! I think I hear some kind of 'swirling' like detune. Did you also modulate the wavetable position as well in your initial example? I tried recreating the lead including the detune setting (30) but was missing that swirling feel.
@MuteProduction

could be the fine pitch modulation
Awesome! But how did you go about the gating and rhythms for this patch as used in the playthrough? It sounds super rhythmic and randomly generated, would love to learn how to implement that with this patch to get similar results...!

I used an M4L device called Autoplay to generate the midi :)
Great tutorials. Where do I find your tunes man??
@MuteProduction

no releases yet buddy, one day though!
What is the point of having x16 unison with no retune? Surely that just adds amplitude? Or are the unison voices phased according to the random phase? Am I missing something?

is it all making sense now?

sync full window is what your after
Any tip on achieving this in Serum? The resampling sounds terrible for some reason!
@MuteProduction
2 жыл бұрын
my best advice would be to record the serum patch and drag the audio into vital’s oscillators and select the wavetable option :)
@MuteProduction
2 жыл бұрын
you can then save the wavetable and load it up in serum
