    This is a serious comparison I'm interested in. I own a pair of Airpods Pro 2, and they're nice but I would like to get better audio quality if possible. I use them mostly for my PC, but also with my phone when I go outdoors. If the Airpods had roughly the same audio quality as the WH1000XM5, then I see no reason to get the Sonys at all.

  • @YoukayTV

    I think you will perceive a better audio sound from the xm5's just due to the size of the drivers, but I can't tell a quality difference at all. What I didn't go into into this video is the XM5's versatility, running them analog via the 3.5mm - I've been using them a lot this way re3cently due to getting a new audio interface, using them to monitor my voice, they are really, really good!

    Just a heads-up on the audio for this video: Since I didn't want to do anything in post, or use any of the eq stuff, This is the raw audio directly from the pd100x into the maonocaster g1 neo, with noise cancelling set to 2, and equalized volume. it sounds a lot cleaner and crisper in a well treated space, and not on the 4th of july when there's a million fireworks behind you, so sorry for having to use noise cancelling via the mixer for this one!

    The new firmware this year includes a disaster feature. I have sent the following message to DJI: Please DJI remove this disaster firmware from the Osmo Pocket 3. I did a firmware upgrade. And now I have the following disastrous feature on my beloved Osmo P3: "Added cancel recording function. Users can press and hold the Shutter/Record button to cancel during recording. The footage will not be stored after cancelling....A disaster feature. Last weekend I lost several important video recordings because I pressed the red record button too long. Who comes up with something like that? To me, this makes the Osmo P3 an unreliable camera (you're kind of playing roulette with your recordings). Proposal: a) remove this feature via a firmware update; b) make the feature optional c) make the "press and Hold function" only work after 4 seconds.

  • @YoukayTV

    I've honestly not ever even heard of that, let alone encountered it. how long is the duration hold to cancel the recording, and what even is the purpose of it if you can just swipe and delete? Sorry you lost your footage mate, if it makes you feel any better, I recorded a full 10 minute unboxing with mine yesterday, I frame and start recording with my phone via the mimo app, thought I hit record and didnt. oof!

    ok, so when its plugged in, the mic is connected via XLR, and you talk into the mic, do you see the voice meter on the first fader move with your voice? if so, make sure you have the audio device selected in windows, on windows 11, right click the volume icon in the system tray and click open volume mixer and for input device make sure its set to the maono usb interface. then it should work fine

  • @YoukayTV
    @YoukayTV15 күн бұрын

    @@YoukayTV thank you, quick questions. 1) how to remove watermark on my videos when i am transferring them via sd card 2) is it important to use usb c to c ? Because when I use normal usb port it only goes for charging

  • @YoukayTV
    @YoukayTV14 күн бұрын

    your videos shouldn't have any watermark when you transfer via USB, that only happens when you do it via the mimo app. Any USB C to USB A/C will work, the usb C goes into the osmo, the usb A or C end goes into a pc. The process is plug the cable into the PC, flip the osmo on, plug the cable from the pc in to the osmo, select file transfer mode on the osmo within 5 seconds and your ready to drag and drop files if its just charging after you plug the cable in, i would try a different cable and a different usb port on the pc, you'll know its working when you plug the cable in and the menu pops up on the osmo screen to do either file transfer mode or webcam mode

  • @curlymadrain
    @curlymadrain14 күн бұрын

    @@YoukayTV I did it with USB but still has water mark🥲

  • @YoukayTV
    @YoukayTV14 күн бұрын

    gotcha, so it must have been a file you edited on the mimo app, which saves to the osmo, and you've transferred that file over from the osmo. You can turn the watermark off, if you go into the mimo app > privacy theres a toggle for it in there. For the files that have the watermark currently, I dont think you can remove them, your only chance would be to be to find the original file you edited or saved via the mimo app pre watermark, if it exsists it will be in the dji folder when you plug it in, im not sure if the mimo creates a copy of the edited file, or edits the main file directly, i've never used it.

    I just found this video and listened to it a couple of times over the last 30 minutes (it's only 8:30 AM here now.... anyway; fascinating subject matter but so complex... and all the comments are also fascinating, I'm looking forward (and definitely planning) to get(ting) back to this later (other more urgent things to do right now) for now: I'm old but not old enough to have witnessed the industrial revolution but what a great time to be alive to witness the technological revolution. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that a lot of what you're saying seems IMHO to echo what people must have said (and worried about) back when steam engines were becoming a big thing (Oh no! Jobs!!!)

  • @YoukayTV
    @YoukayTV19 күн бұрын

    theres a bit more nuance to AI over other industrial and revolutioary advancements. I think the BIG part of this current storyline is where we currently are as a society. (hypercapitilism) AI is being developed by 4 of the biggest mega corps the planet has ever seen, with 1 singular goal, these megacorps only care about one thing, profits. AI isn't being developed for the good of the people, to help people, to assist humans, to solve hunger or cure disease. AI is being developed by 4 big tech companies to make even more trillions for their shareholders. AI is being specifically developed to lower corporations biggest cost, labor. why pay a human $16 an hour to answer a phone, respond to an email, design a graphic, edit a video when you can get the same, actually better service from AI for about $1/hour computing power. Steam engines, combustion engines, lightbulbs, personal computers, all inventions that improved society, solved a problem, made us stronger, smarter, more efficient. AI? literally designed at its core to replace us, by people who are very, very money and profit motivated.
