Saw you previous review on the TR-S. Thanks for the detailed review. What is the total length of a camera and body that can fit across the width of the bag (i.e., when accessing the camera from the side opening it would be facing down). This looks larger than the TR-S. Also, do the side zippers have a anti-theft feature like the TR-S?

I just measured and the stock config for both bags, for the trs is 6.5 inches but can be expanded to approximately 8 inches by adjusting the foam inserts. its a lot more for the HX S because one side padding can be completely removed giving you approximately 11 inches all the way through the bag. the hx-s doesn't have the same buckle system as the trs so not as "secure" but better in many other ways :)

your more than welcome bud, best part about buying stuff on amazon is if it doesnt work out, can always just send it back without issue at least!! I really do love these tarion packs though, they are really well made for their price and compete with much more expensive bags!

either!!! both straps, the big main strap and the smaller one are completely interchangeable, you can configure it to left shoulder or right shoulder, I didn't mention this because I looked at the recording time and realized i'd been talking about a backpack for 20 minutes!! such an amazing backpack for the price!

Hello, thank you for your interesting vidéo about this bag. Could you please indicate what is the HX-S internal height available ? my DSLR body is about 5.6 inch of height. Would it fit inside the bag without constrain ? Is it the same internal height for the TR-S? Thanks

that should fit fine! the hx-s has more room due to fully removable compartment, so you could make it much larger internally, essentially the full width of the bag!

Many thanks for your answer Youkay. In fact I would like to put inside my DSLR with 24-70/2.8 mounted on it, it's why I worry about the DSLR height accepted by the bag.

The best part about the HX-s is the ability to completely remove one side of the customization panels which will give approx 8.5"! its super flexible and well made. good luck mate!
