Hey there! Me and a few friends are travelling to Skyomish from the UK in February 2025.. we will be hiring a car from Tacoma. Could you tell me what the conditions are like in the month of February in and around Skyomish? Would be good to as I’ll likely be driving the most. Great video btw! Cannot wait to get there!

It will be snowy with potentially several feet of snow on the ground. Are you skiing at Stevens Pass? They do a good job of plowing the roads but some storms can shut things down for a day or 2.

Hey buddy! Looks nice up there. We have been on the coast ever since we got back from Hawaii couple weeks ago we have a place out here in Ocean shore. I am hoping to get up to Mount Baker before it gets too hot. Did you ever decide on a e-bike?

Sounds awesome, great time to be at the shore. I am not getting an e-bike at the moment, getting a Project M Camper pop-up instead. Will be installed soon, can't wait to use it and make some videos! Maybe in a year or 2 will get an e-bike, I like the Rad bikes now that they are using potted batteries, first company to do so. Tons of snow on Baker, I hope to get up there to, been years since we actually hiked on one of those trails. Stay safe, forest roads opening soon, I think Memorial Day is final opening day for majority?

Did this same drive hundreds of times while stationed in Neah Bay. Still looks beautiful. I had to chuckle when the car passed you as we all did the same thing when caught behind tourists. Ray's Groceries sold more booze than anything else headed to Neah Bay. That alone surely kept them in business during my time there. Had a few mudslides that blocked the road but they set up pilot vehicles to guide us over the logging roads to make it into Neah Bay the back way. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the memories.

I tried that once, it is actually hard. I will try it again sometime this summer, it also got in the way of my hat though. I will be using the selfie stick more, that makes holding the camera way easier. The main thing with the head mount is I have to remember to not move my head to fast and it was hard to realize what the angle of the camera was when looking around.

True, I have gotten better since this video. Back then I was trying to be an RV channel and let other RV's know of the hassles on some of these roads. Now the worst I talk about is buying crappy bio-diesel at gas stations while traveling. I actually like the videos I make that I talk less in, it is hard sometimes when traveling alone for sure. To me the sound of the road noise is relaxing.

My hometown, Melbourne, Australia, gets 2300 hours of sunshine per year and is disparaged here in Australia as being too cloudy / grey. But I personally love it as I might be one of the 10 people in the world who hate bloody sun and prefer clouds, as everyone seems to like sunshine and wants to move to Florida. In comparison, Seattle gets 2100 hours of sunshine per year, so even cloudier, which means I like it even better. I bet there are places in Olympic National Park that are even more free from sunshine. And before anyone asks, no, I am not a vampire. :)

I just drink a cup of black coffee a day if needed, I quit going to Starbucks a decade ago when I realized all the sugar that was put in those drinks. We save so much money making our own coffee now, very rarely ever buy it somewhere. I can't believe I used to buy Frappuccino's and Cinnabon's. The joys of being young that we lose as we age!

Having been raised in large cities (Omaha and Lincoln), I once perceived small towns as the same. However? In truth, they are often best-likened to icebergs. Sailing toward these? All one perceives is a tiny piece of frozen water, resting atop a calm and peaceful sea. Until? Hitting the significantly-large and dangerous portion beneath.
