Franklin Falls Hike at Denny Creek Near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington | Awesome New Parking Lot

Every time I said Denny Creek while hiking I should have said South Fork of the Snoqualmie River, plus we were on the Franklin Falls Trail not the Denny Creek Trail, I was all confused that day! What a fun hike, our first outing this spring! The road walk was not as bad as I thought it would be, I think it was around 2 and a third miles in each direction. The trail itself was a mile and a fourth in each direction. Neat to see the newly constructed parking area and campground. We had a great hot lunch at the end, totals for the day were 7.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain.

Thank you very much! It was a fun spring hike, looking forward to the return trip and actually doing the Denny Creek Trail to the other waterfalls.

I was cringing a little at the snowy spots on the trail, given your recent injury! What an awesome beauty there. As always thanks for taking us along!
