Bremerton, Washington to Sol Duc Hot Springs in Olympic National Park
Middle of April and Washington is turning green again, a rare sunny day that turns cloudy, windy, and rainy by the afternoon. This drive goes past Lake Crescent before turning left at the turnoff to Sol Duc Hot Springs resort. If visiting between Memorial Day and Labor Day prepare to have trouble with parking or get there super early like around 7am! One of my favorite places in WA! Sol Duc! The waterfalls in the park just beyond the Hot Spring place are gorgeous! I'm glad you are back in green WA!

I am not sure I have ever been here before, this might have been my first visit. The hike was amazing, best waterfall I have seen in the state of Washington! Hike will be online tomorrow :) There are 2 or 3 other hikes we want to do there yet, hoping to camp there this fall, campground was awesome looking.

@@AmericanOutbackAmazing OH GOOD! I was watching your Calif adventure when you were headed through Sacramento. HOW many times in my life did I take that route to Tahoe from Oakland!! I tried to see if you went thru the Bay Area...680 maybe on your way south, but I couldn't tell! And did I understand you lived in So Cal at one time?

Yep, I would never live there again, way to expensive and traffic drove me crazy!

@@AmericanOutbackAmazing I'd never live in Calif again! Born and raised Bay Area...short stint in L.A..back to the Bay...and now here and won't leave...except maybe Vancouver B.C!!
My husband hit a deer early this morning at 5am. Front side all damaged ughhhh! Its a new SUV too. Kinda weird that your video had a deer in it that crossed your path

That is terrible, hopefully he is ok? Yea, I have seen several deer this past month cross the road in front of us. I clipped a deer in the RV years ago, scary!

@AmericanOutbackAmazing ya he's fine. I always fear deers or any animal crossing the road. We just don't know what our reaction will be and on coming traffic. Scary Anyway- nice video. Thanks again for filming.

I feel bad when the birds run into me, never understood why they fly into traffic when no other cars around.
