I am only 12 and i am working on mine the floor is rotten but overall its all right the car had been primered and painted so many times its going to be a journey !
Chevrolet would be brilliant to bring this body style back with modern guts. Would outsell that Lamborghini looking poor excuse for a corvette they are making now. Tell me it’s a super car all you want it’s not a corvette. C6 was the last corvette
how much to buy it?
is that a lt1. eng
dont use synthectic oil semi or conventional oil ac delco filter valoline oil good day
Where’d you go?
I'm having an Edelbrock dual plane intake manifold installed on my '72 as we speak and am getting scared watching this video. Hope it's not warped.
My favorite is when your wife says, "Do I need to get out?" Priceless. GREAT video's Ryan and don't ever sell your '73. It's beautiful!
GREAT video Ryan and GREAT work on restoring this car. Awesome find! I just bought a '72 Camaro myself late April. And, thanks for showing the products you used. I will be using a number of these in the future.
sounds tough 👍👍
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Hey brother, I got this front clip in my 3100, and this is going to help a ton. Do you have videos of the steering linkage by chance? Thanks!
Has it been a year since your last video?
My 73 Z is also brown with saddle interior and have the same exact green vinyl pieces as you. Ah yes GM quality back in the day eh?
Any tips on reinstalling the lower control arms, I know they can be tough to put back on
Ryan, how is everything going? I always think about you when i walk into Walgreens and pick up my licinipril...im sure i spelled that wrong! Whats the latest with the Chevelle and more importantly the Camaro? Anyway, hope everything is going well!

Hello, I’am a 64 year old man that lived and drove muscle cars as a kid. My first love was a 70 SS Chevelle 396 I just wanted to thank you for putting your love into that car and especially for working on it with your dad it was fun watching you drive it for the first time I rember the feeling brings tears to my eyes Take care and always keep rolling the Z-28!
Beautiful. Love the originality. Thanks..
I used rock gaurd cuz my paint chipped 3 times so I was like fuck this let's see this rock gaurd chip off lmao
Nice job on the video! Exactly what I needed
Power wash it and drive it.
Few scratches, and some detailing? Hell of a solid barn find ! Pretty sweet.
I’ve had 2 engines rebuilt at 2 different shops, both took 8-months to complete. Why does it take so long, Gesh!
Great information Doing the same thing with my shinka today.
Almost been a year.. is he still alive?
I know not everybody will agree with me, but I find the Blackwall side to be ugly. If it is a Muscle car from the 1960's and 1970's it has to have the white letters showing.
Under the hood doesn't really empress me
Just a beauty. C2 is my favorite body style.
Was that dude really pumping the brakes like that?
How is none of the paint faded? It's all shiny after the dust is washed off.
on that fan shroud, I discovered a good way to get it looking good; used some Maguire's PlastX plastic polish I had laying around on one and it had it looking brand new with a little bit of work.
LS3 & TR6060 is going to have constraints. If doing all the work to convert to a manual trans, I'd prefer the Magnum. Of course, if the price is right it can be the best choice. Bench seat isn't staying though.
Funny how the government works. No problem verifying the wrong number, but verifying the correct number is nothing but problems.
Very sharp too!!
What did you use for the back area where the rear speakers mount? Mines all rotted out like yours
Did you have any problems getting Center caps on
Nice
At seventy years old, and participating in many GM muscle car restorations over the last fifty years, I can truly applaud your efforts and dedication to restoring this beautiful '73 Camaro Z/28. Your test drive is priceless. It brought back fond memories of a similar one I and my wife did with a '73 Firebird Formula 400, four speed back in 2008. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video series with us.
Sounds good
It looks as thou you have a non original block with no CCV from the rear port to the oil fill tube, and the rad is for a BB. You need to change that rad and shroud so you don't have over heating issues. The fan should be 50% inside of the shroud. Also the vacuum advance can is incorrect and possibly the dizzy itself. The passenger exhaust manifold is incorrect, it for a earlier engine for the choke heat tube hole. All SB had an overflow tank above the battery and it was plumbed into the cooking system. The hood is a GM over the counter part. They were made by North American Rockwell for GM. Knowing the car was damaged in the front driver side, the hood had to be replaced with the current one. Maybe all this info is late to you, but necessary. How do I know all this, I have 50 years experience with C-2 Vettes.
The story about the hood is just that, a made up story. It has been proven it did not happen by a deceased GM Plant Managers papers it did NOT happen. End of story!
GREAT JOB
Thx for the video. The L88 hood did not push air back TO the windshield however. It drew high pressure air FROM the windshield, eh?
True.
Damn..seeing that bird 💩 hurt. Glad the car got some tlc👍
There's a straight-looking, grey-primered '62 Impala 2 door hard top in Corpus Christi, TX. It's just sitting in front of a metal building on the corner of Morgan and Brownlee. It hasn't moved/hasn't made progress for about two years now.
I'd get a bench seat with arm rests. I hate no arm rests. Lol.
