  Because her effect is "activate main" and doesnt requre her to rest herself to use the effect. So you can rest her with the Samurai event first and still use Hiyori's "activate main" effect! "activate main" effects can be used at any time during your turn

  So I love this deck so far but I took out shirahoshi for bege. I feel like I could maybe put 1 or 2 of her back in but with bege I have been running a lot smoother and being able to tech him and onami into my life to slow down my opponents I have been beating lucci decks a lot. I already had good matchups with by luffy and rp law. I think it takes some good on the fly thinking but this deck is so good.

  nice! yeah, I think Shirahoshi is one of the first cards that can leave the deck tbh, but the card cycle is so nice : ) I like the Bege tech, he's never a bad 2k to choose haha. Glad to hear you're having good results! I used this build on and off a lot in OP7 and always had a pretty good time. Props to you for beating those Luccis too, that's probably the decks hardest MU IMO 🔥

  @@FudelioTCG I still have trouble with enels and I’ve lost to a bonney. I haven’t played a ton of games with it but because of the card draw I have I end up doing really well. I just have to be more patient with decks like enel. I usually have about a 70-30% win on r/p law and I stomp nami and b/y luffy. Still have a lot of testing to do and I’m sure some of those players like me aren’t that experienced but a win is a win I guess lol i love the deck though. Yamato is also easily one of my top 3 characters along with Zoro.

  At the time, Zoro was just stronger into most MU besides Lucci (Enel and Bonney were still being played a ton). I didn't have room for Doffy in that particular list, and I wanted some of the other tech cards like Enel and Straw Sword for Law. I still think Doffy in Samurai build is super strong though : )

  Katakuri is extremly strong in the op7 meta, i dont know how hes so far behind. hes still better than enel and has an ridiculously good matchup against lucci and moria

  I dont think Kata is that strong in 07. He loses to RP Law most of the time, and actually struggles into Lucci cus they can just KO everything the turn you play it out. Those are 2/3 best decks in the format. Enel is definitely the stronger yellow leader for OP7. Kata's coming back a bit in OP8 with the Egghead builds, so that's cool to see though

  The moment law is hit, lucci will just take over its spot with the same dominance. They need to limit 8c Moria alongside the restrictions/bans for law.

  I agree they should restrict/ban other stuff, cus actually BY Luffy will give Lucci a run for his money. They need to affect black in at least some way to balance things out

  Thanks for watching! If you don't have Zoro, you can always run a different top end like 9c Yamato or just stick to the 10c Doffys and run more of the low-mid end cards like 5c Ace : )

  having between 22-26 non counter in Samurai builds is pretty common, but it does come with a risk. The 0c counters help with this, but that is why the Shirahoshi builds are a little bit safer in terms of hand draw, but less versatile and harder against Black.

  Thanks! I really appreciate it. I need to make an OP7 Ace (blue/yellow and red) vid for sure bcus I did play them a bit during 07. I think they both can be strong cus they're good into RP Law, but have difficult MU against other decks. It kinda depends on what events you run and UY Ace definitely relies on a bit of luck and correct sequencing from your part.

  Personally, I love the obscure cards. Weird background characters or forgotten weirdoes from old movies or (hopefully one day) games. Shiki is one of my top 5 OP designs ever he's just got such a look going on. (So good he gets to be canon)

  Shiki's a cool one cus he's actually canon, yeah. I think some of the obscure stuff is cool, but it feels like they're just using it to promote their most recent game instead of giving it a proper archetype treatment like they at least did for Film stuff.

  Definitely. If you feel you can get away with 9c Yamato, Ace, or just Doffy, that's fine. Even 8c Kid is an option. It's all about what you want to use your top end for, like what MU you think you'll need them for and then building the rest of the deck around that.

  Ive been personally testing a similar version on the sim. A few techs I like 2c Tonoyasu op04-109 Gives Samurai another resting target. Buffs up a Wano for 3 and with leader ability you can give 2 Don to an active character. Rosinate 04-119 Rosinate blocker 05-030 Help at times but not as much as I would like. Unless your building a donq/wano build

  Tonoyasu is interesting for another resting target. I kinda like that. I love Rosinante blocker too. You can run a Samurai/Fortress build too, and Rosi would be great in that.

  yeah! i've tried Laundry's sky aggro version as well and I really like it. Sky Aggro is stronger against Law but struggles more into Bonney, and still has a hard time against Lucci and Enel IMO. So it just depends on what MU you want to have an upper hand with. I bounced back and forth between Sky, Yellow Wano, and Samurai throughout OP7 to keep it fresh for myself

  Carrot is very good against Law! But unfortunately she struggles into black and blue, and even Enel a bit T_T She’s good against BY Luffy too though, but he’s not seeing much play atm

  I don’t know…I’m excited to play Bonney in op07. I’ve had a hard fight against lucci pretty much exclusively and even blue doflamingo I currently run about 50/50 against r/p law with my Yamato deck. I make people quit on the sim quite a bit that are playing r/p law. I will say it IS a gnarly deck but like saka it isn’t unbeatable.

  Yeah not unbeatable for sure. Honestly, in OP7 I think there were quite a few decks that could stand up to Law and the meta was much more diverse. It’s OP8 where things get a bit more one-sided :/

  @@FudelioTCG that’s fair. I’m trying to play some of the op08 leaders but everyone keeps quitting so I can’t get a solid test on my builds. I haven’t played a r/p law with op08 cards yet.
