    I really enjoy your content and take on certain things but I noticed a funny pattern where people tend to underestimate whitebeard for almost every meta since the restrictions of radbeam, marco etc. He got called dead/"local" deck so many times but still ascend and win a regional here and there and get multiple tops on those events. Even in the current meta (op06) he got counted out super hard but was just able to win a regional last weekend (or 2 weeks ago I think). It will be similar in op07 I think, people will gravitate towards the new leaders of course but don't expect running into him in a tournament which can be a disadvantage because so many people make mistakes when they play against wb.

    Thanks! Appreciate it. I don’t think ppl are really underestimating him as much as he’s more of an outlier deck now that is decent, but just not as good as he once was. Whitebeard being a 6k leader will always give him a shot in any meta, but until he starts getting more consistent results I couldn’t place him any higher. I saw he won that regional the other day which is cool but the same thing happened in the East where he made it to the finals of a CS regional and then kinda died out again after, especially once EB01 dropped.

    I think Perona needs still some brewing. I think there is something, that can push her to the upper levels. At the moment I'm looking to give her some Rebecca and Hina stuff. Maybe after Saka is gone, that's something. Here in germany with OP06 Katakuri is really strong at the moment. Wondering what will happen with OP07. I would think he will be still one of the most annoying decks to play against. Enel is kinda dying out here atm. Just from what I have seen at locals.

    I think Perona still has some potential too. People need time to cook with her in OP7. I think there’s gonna be some real interesting lists. Katakuri is really strong throughout OP6 but it’ll probably die off a little once Reject is gone. Katakuri was really popular in Japan and he’s almost non-existent now. Interested to see how things go though

    20:11 I think Vivi having a success here and there because her opponents have no idea what the deck does lol, they're unfamiliar with the match up and don't know what to play around.

    That’s part of it for sure but Vivi also has a lot of tools to deal with a lot of decks now. Idk how high she’ll end up being on the list but it’s still a strong deck regardless.

    Respectfully, I think Kata will be Tier 1 if not still ultra competitive even after losing Reject. I’m also curious to see how the Tempest Kick from OP07 will work in Moria

    I think Kata has a chance. Everyone I know playing Kata is switching off him but I think they should at least try to cook a little before giving up. Losing Reject is pretty devastating though.

    lucci has been in my mind very strong vs enel. It has a harder time into RP law but is very strong into both it's worst match is Bee Luffy because of sabo effect. bonney also loses to lucci a lot, stussy is just so strong at keeping the big threats away like 10 cost ace and 10 cost doffy.

  • @FudelioTCG

    @FudelioTCG

    4 ай бұрын

    Lucci is strong but I think the 3 top tier decks all beat it. 10c Ace is just too strong, so even if you can KO Enel's big bodies it's not really enough

  • @SenpaiSlam

    @SenpaiSlam

    @@FudelioTCG I guess you haven't been watching the right gameplay online Lucci is strongly favored into enel and law. It struggles with luffy because of constant 9k leader and Sabo effect.

    I'd love to link you games like I said being able to deal with every body enel plays and fill out board with moria and stussy is what wins the match for Lucci. Law has a hard time dealing with moria and Rob Lucci cleaning board.

  • @SenpaiSlam

    @SenpaiSlam

    Lucci actually has a harder time into moria leader than it does law and enel. Because no matter what gecko can continue to build board on him with leader.

  • @FudelioTCG

    @FudelioTCG

    i watch a lot of games but also play IRL over here in Japan and talk to ppl about this stuff daily. Lucci struggles into Enel bcus most decks can only afford to run 2-3 Stussy max, and won't be able to clear more than 1-2 big bodies of Enel without losing too many resources while not establishing enough blockers. It's 50-50 at best, but a good Enel player will make it more of a 55-45 MU in favor of Enel. Black loses to BY Luffy, yes. And no, Lucci isn't strongly favored into Law. They can bottom deck 5c Sabo with 1 gordon/max and build board faster than Lucci can KO. Lucci has decent MU into a lot of top tier decks but he's not strongly favored into any of them. And you're right about Moria beating Lucci most of the time, which makes it even harder for him. Still think he's a really strong leader but he's just a bit below most of the other top tier decks. Lucci does really well into blue, which is a strong anit-meta deck right now. That's one of the strong suits of the leader, but most ppl are just running either Law, Luffy, or Enel, making it harder for him to come out on top at higher level competitions. if what you're saying is true, we'd see Lucci winning the flagships and regional preliminaries right now, but all it's been so far is Law, Enel, Moria, and BY Luffy

  • @FudelioTCG

    @FudelioTCG

    No not really. Flooding the board with 6k bodies from turn 1 is pretty strong against Nami. It just comes down to how you swing and their luck after that. Nami is just really strong no matter what right now. He does kinda auto lose to Yamato though unless you can see all your Shakas right out the gate

  • @FudelioTCG

    I'm not sure what you're referring to, essentially every single topping and winning Kata list from OP6 ran 2~4 copies of Reject. If ppl in the West aren't running Reject, they need to while they still can.

    Youre dead wrong thinking that a removal deck, just cause Saka is here still, invalid. Gecko in our current meta is proving this in spades. Lucci which has an insane match-up into Enel the best yellow deck in O7 would be a perfectly valid reason. Enel is league's best yellow by far too. Saka is just overhyped at this point.

  • @FudelioTCG

    @FudelioTCG

    Sorry I’m confused about what you’re trying to say 🤔 I don’t think other removal decks are invalid. This is just for OP7 after the bans btw. I made this when the set had only been out for like 1-2 weeks. Calling Lucci’s MU into Enel “insane” is a little much tho, imo. It’s decent but good Enel players still take it most of the time.
