Wow just in time I'm considering whether to take a variation of this deck or ST11 Uta (my comfort) to Sydney Regionals. Does this Yamato still suffer like Wano Yamato against Katakuri?

glad it was good timing, that's what i was hoping for! So this build can rush Kata down pretty well (you can check the Kata game in the vid to see) but you can always lose to triggers. If you're not sure and you wanna go with your more comfortable deck in Uta, that's a good call too.

What are your thoughts on 2 7c rush enels and 2 hody? My reasoning is, hody if they have blockers needing resting. enel if they dont and now i don't lose a life until they try to remove enel

I think 5c Rush Ace is just better in 90% of situations than Rush Enel during ST13~EB01 only having to use 5 don for Ace instead of 7 for Enel is amazing. Enel is slightly better for black MU though because he's harder to KO, but that's about it.

These are some dope lists maaan 🔥 So the Wano Build is not that viable anymore?

it never was viable. as long as your opponent does not take the first hit, youre entire deck is dead.

thanks! Wano build definitely still viable, Sky Island is just a better aggro deck and works better against Saka. Ppl were still winning flagships and higher level tournaments with Wano build throughout EB01 so if that's the build you prefer, you can still play it.

I’m thinking of playing the first decklist you showed. I’m replacing the rush Yamato with hiyoris but I’m not sure if I want to run sugar yet. What should I replace her with?

if you don't want to run Sugar, you can sub her for more events, Gedatsu, or even something like 2 5c Momo blockers, 2c Rosi blocker, etc just for a little bit of protection

Is it not worth it to run kiku and momo sr when running 5c ace? Just bc it would contradict ace’s requirement to be at 2 life

i think it does make it a little bit harder for that reason, but it's still a decent play if you're at one life or if you've already played Ace and want to play down a Hody. It just requires a bit of careful planning

Could you do a video using wano build with st13?

Is wano build at the same level as sky island (both using ace from st13) ?

I think Sky Island is a bit more powerful into a lot of the top tier decks but Wano is still more defensive and stable Ace fits great into any Yamato build : )

How do you feel about the mihawk ohm holy combo? Is it worth it at the very least he is a 2k.

I could see it instead of the 2k yamato. But also playing out your 2k counter as a 4k body just isnt that impressive unless you are doing it on the 3 don turn

I'm personally not the biggest fan of Mihawk Ohm Holy just because you lose so many cards/counter out of hand, but it's really strong! Having the option to use it is nice though, so I think Mihawk or Hiyori is probably better than the 2k counter Yamato.

I feel like it's only the move when you up against RP law and you need to flood the board but that's just in my opinion

@@NakamaTye yeah that can be strong against law but you normally want to swing 8-9k on turn 2 so if you do the combo wombo they keep their life and there’s a good chance they just swing over the rested Ohm and remove the Holy with leader effect and establish a blocker, which would put you in a really rough situation. I’d rather just play ohm holy and only have one removed in that situation while holding onto a 2k counter. I guess it could still be strong turn 3-4 but you really want to push for lethal with leader Ace and Hody as much as you can.

I an struggling against by luffy with this build, any advice?

BY Luffy can be tricky. Do you try to rush him down or starve him? Cus you can do both with Yamato. I think with the sky island build it’s best to build a wide board with ohm holy while swinging banish swings with Onami when you can. Save Hody for Sabo blockers. You can play him early to KO them but be careful cus he can bring them back with leader effect. Saving Amaru and Hody for lethal is very strong too. You basically want at least 2-3 high power swings for going for lethal, unless he’s at 0 life and no blockers up, then you stack and Amaru onto one char and go for game. The BY Luffy MU is all about anticipating what he wants to do and doing your best to not let him do it

Hey, so just wondering. Is sky island better than wano? In op06 ? In EB01?

I think in ST13/EB01 Sky Island is the stronger aggro deck. If you like a little more versatility, than Wano is still strong. I just think Reject is an insanely strong event and you can search it with Shura, so I would slightly favor Sky Island through EB-01 until OP7

I think he works really well in any Yamato build, it's just harder to make room for him in the Wano build. I think you can still do well w/o him but I like running at least 2-4 even in my Wano builds : )

@@daiyan5688 no problem! I think taking out Zoro is fine. Ace is better for most matchups anyways because it’s hard to get time to play Zoro

would u consider running 2k mihawk over 2k Yamato?

yeah definitely if you think it works better with the other cards u wanna play. I mostly just ran 2k yamato in this build to show off another card from ST13 XD

wouldnt conis be an better 2k for the sky island engine? why yamato instead of conis.

You can run Conis if you want another searchable 2k but since Satori's already there and you're most likely going to be grabbing whatever event you need with Shura instead of Conis, it's just more likely that Yamato 2k counter or even Hiyori 2k counter will be better. Yamato is for niche situations where you really just need the rush and Hiyori could be to plant an Amaru or 0c event. The better 2k, really, is Franky from OP07. So until then you can just use whatever you'd like. Even Bege is fine. That 2k counter spot is a flex spot.

What about mihawk instead of rush yamato?

How do you beat 8c kid with this build

8c Kid is pretty hard without Red Roc. If you’re facing a lot of Utas that are running Kid or something like that you could tech in red roc over gravity blade.

haha sorry I thought this was a comment on my blue yellow ace vid! XD for aggro builds you normally try and rush them down so that they're in a bad position to play 8c Kid, where either they don't have the hand size to keep him alive or you build a wide board with Hody Ace Ohm/Holy early on so that you have enough attacks to take him down within a turn or two Uta/Green leaders playing 8c Kid can be hard for Yamato to get through. You can always play a few copies of 9c Zoro, even in the sky island build for situations like that though. Just take first and play out zoro on your 9 don turn if you have enough life/counter to survive the next turn.
