Who's here in 2024
I'm only happy when you're unhappy- Flintheart Glomgold- (duke baloney was left in south Africa).
I want to buy those Della Duck toys
I doubt you'll see this because of how old the video is and the fact that you haven't been uploading recently but Hi, I'm a person who never grew up with the original DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, or anything really related to older Disney cartoons. Basically, I'm a kid born in the mid 2000s. TL:DR I loved the show and love how it inspired a generation just like the original, and I love that this channel shares so much of the history behind the show I found the show with my brother around 2019, but only really got into it after the show had already ended. I absolutely fell in love with this show and loved so much of the characterisation, storytelling, and humour it had. this show is part of what got me to look at more Disney shows and to just look into animation in general. Until very recently, I hadn't made any contact with the show again since I finished it, and when I did, I realised that I still love the show as much as I did the first time I watched it. I was kinda craving content made by some other people, and I at some point ran into your channel. I was instantly interested knowing that you had a much longer history with DuckTales (and other old Disney stuff) than I did, and your videos are honestly really good, especially considering how much trouble I've been having finding content about DuckTales on KZread (especially in recent times). I think it is amazing how the old shows managed to inspire a whole generation. The creators of the reboot talked about how they were inspired by their childhood cartoons and comics, and wanted to convey the heart of the show and share that love. Personally, I think some of the recent Disney cartoons Including the DuckTales Reboot managed do It extremely well in inspiring the younger audience. Even if they didn't get the amount of traction they deserved (in my opinion), DuckTales currently stands as one of my all time favourite shows and I love that I can learn about the history of that show and the possible inspirations behind it through channels like yours.
My favorite character is Louie Duck.
First comment in two years: When Beakley meets Scrooge and sees him asleep, he says that last night he caught a jewel thief called Jack the Treaper. That is character from the original show.
you can see 90's webby on her wall when the triplets are tied up
I wish Ducktales hadn’t of had a series finale, because I didn’t like Louie being grounded and I know for once that Louie would love an adventure that has no danger and laziness. Louie deserves another chance to go to big rock candy mountain without being grounded or missing out.
Are you alive what happened
A rocket ship
Hi I love Ducktales
Hello Seaniccus my name is Isaiah and I have something important to say to you. God loves you and like any father he wants to help you and keep you safe especially from the devil. But I am not just speaking to you about this I am also talking to your fans about this. God loves you all and he wants us all to be saved. For we can not save ourselves. Do not be afraid to come to the Lord. For his love is for evreyone. Shalom Shalom.
Della "You took off in that contraption without thinking of the consequences, or the people you would hurt!" Louie "I wonder who I got that from..." They never really mention that exchange again or resolve it. That's huge.
Sabrina Spellman lives in Massachusetts according to the comedy show and the animated series, she's often referred to as Half Witch, Half Mortal. As a classic fan, I never use the word, No-Maj, I always refer to as Mortals.
I have something of my theory and it has to do with the episode of "friendship hates magic" what I think happened is that Lena is a "tulpa" let me explain; that at the moment in which spell magic was enclosed in Scrooge's coin, separating his shadow from his body with magic and creating with the magic of the lunar eclipse, at that moment of being enclosed in the coin he used the emotions of hate and revenge towards Scrooge and he created Lena hiding in her shadow, Lena, his tulpa casts a version of herself from her own magic shadow, but, I think that as the years went by little by little she took on her own will but without being free of magic of spell and the way in which he was able to obtain his own personality is that in the lunar eclipse of his magic confinement he exaggerated in the amount of magic applied to lena and thus creating a tulpa with its own will or so I think I also like the Seanicus theory it has much more logic for me I think
It's Wandavision
This is my favorite version of Donald
"Why Huey...WHY!?!?"
Scrooge probably bought his pizzas in bulk to use a special promotion or coupon
RIP possible Darkwing Duck Disney+ reboot.
I love the racism. I miss it :(
I love how the three brothers are representations of scoorge and at the same time need a lot of growth to be like them
DuckWorth 2017: We DuckWorths do not die… we conquer… (or at least come back as ghosts). Yes….
Winston's chanting is him singing in a "funky" style similar to James Brown.
I’m so upset this got canceled. I wanted to buy these.
Ok this was the best scheme glom gold ever made. The only reason it failed was because he didn’t have strong enough glue
I’m still waiting for season four announcement. It’s it’s gonna happen, please why why God?
4:14 (me giving hardcore side eye to the people who blame ladybug for why lila is evil in miraculous ladybug…. exposing someone telling dangerous lies is not a crime.)
I feel like out of the trio, Louie has the greatest opportunity of actually surpassing his uncle in wealth
Louie is my favorite
4:15 Gladstone’s good fortune IS actually magical! The luck comes from a painted image of a triple distelfink on a barn that his mother, and later him, were born under on his grandma’s farm. The sigil is also apparently where Donald’s bad luck comes from as well. 🦆
I read the TPB release of the Carl Barks comics and knew of Glandstone before . To be honest I never liked the character in the early stories. But I understand his role . Be a foil for Donald and make you root more for him . This version was still a little smug he but he felt decent for some parts. You can tell that even for being lucky he somewhat cares for Donald and his family
I bet launch pad would have bin so proud of Dewey’s first crash . I bet when Della told launchpad he was crying tears of joy
Have you the manga about the three caballeros going to Japan and learning about the culture.
I appreciated how you commented on this Bombie the Zombie character. This character does have a troubled backstory, and I appreciated how you commented on it. The central message of this Bombie episode is, "No matter how big you are, there's always someone bigger." Which Louie had to learn the hard way.
I refund your channel after years. I miss you, buddy.
I was doing some research it in the classic darkwing duck series Morgana 5 episodes maybe 6 my count might be off . But I think she is the one character thats not part of the main cast also are gonna cover the Nega Duck comic series ? I was wondering have thought of doing a series of videos either reviewing the episodes of darkwing duck that focus female characters as I don’t think any one has focused just on those episodes.
I was watching your review with of ducktales with pepper teaming with the phantom bolt . Question 1. Does pepper ever show up any more episodes and if so which ones ? We webby may and June are scourges daughters and he’s gonna be in there lives but pepper could be the clones mom and not know . The boss goes to the female hench people and says he needs a volunteer and before could even finish his sentence Pepper pulls a pinkie pie is his by his hand saying pick me jumping and down . Just a theory. Maybe an idea for to do a video on in the future about who could be the clones moms among the fowl alies .
These are really amazing mugs! 😊❤
To be honest, for a long time I thought that glomgold was Rockerduck, or "patacôncio", as we know here in Brazil, I only met glomgold on the ducktales remaster videogame, and I was like "why is Rockerduck so different from the comics?
Wow. Ended up rewatching all of your Ducktales Reviews. Really missed this channel! Hope you do post again sometime in the future!
What makes Louie the best triplet in my opinion is that he is the only one whose change and evolution is most noticeable. Huey starts out as a control freak know-it-all and stays the same. Dewey is an annoying hyperactive guy who doesn't change. But Louie goes from being a lazy, selfish kid to someone who knows that the value of money is earned through hard work. He is undoubtedly one of the best characters in the series.
Let’s be real here - Della didn’t need her experience with Launchpad to inform her actions for Webby. Launchpad is a fully grown adult that’s not only completely inept and stupid, he’s been routinely destroying her plane and dangerously reassembling it, all the while constantly putting her entire family in serious danger when he flies them, since he’s a terrible pilot. Webby is a child. If anything, Della talking with Webby is what informs her how to treat Launchpad. Which is to say, he’s a moron and must be spoken to and treated like a child.
Magica combined her Amulet with Poe’s to make her Staff. Their power seems complimentary, with both Poe and Magica knowing spells the other doesn’t. Perhaps Lena was created from Poe’s magic, making Lena _his_ daughter and therefore Magica’s Niece? The most likely answer is there’s no deeper meaning. Disney often uses the “evil aunt/uncle” trope. Looks at Ursula, Scar, etc. Lena is basically Magica’s daughter, but I think the idea of being a mother would horrify her. So “aunt” was a more comfortable word.
I thought Fooey Duck was just Donald as a kid.
The series needs an epilogue season like Steven Universe did, to tie up loose ends. And by “tie up loose ends” I mean specifically for Scrooge to find Poe and have Lena turn him back to normal. Thus giving Magica, the only villain that Scrooge legitimately screwed over, a happy ending. Reunited with her brother and on “speaking terms” with Lena. She and Poe can then continue to be assholes and rule over unfortunate towns and people, but with an antagonistic-yet-peaceful truce with the McDuck family.
The thing that I think they did perfect was a way to set up the origin of Negaduck. It was truly and absolutely perfect.
I think Lunaris is a cool character and all, but I don’t think his voice is very fitting for his character. I would’ve preferred if the guy who plays Gallaxhar from Monsters vs. Aliens played Lunaris instead.
Dude, studios explicitly hire non-fans to write and direct reboots and sequels, they boast about this. Ducktales 2017 was one of the rare projects that didn't.
