That pedal release point at 10:46 where you have silently sustained the last chord keys seconds before is perfection.

А я почти не услышал в этой транскрипции этого романса ,за исключением пары эпизодов ,все время была какая-то вода,а темы романса не было ,ведь там конкретная мелодия должна идти ,а ее нет.

Stunning. Everything you play I think I love this the most and then you move on to something else and I think the same thing. So wonderful. Do you ever do pure improvisation sessions? If so, please share. I see that you do use virtual instruments replicating historical works. Have you tried orchestral improvisation sessions something like... kzread.info/dash/bejne/dIp6lpmlqtG1qbw.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/hnWssstym7y9dJM.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZZrzbuGn9fMYZM.html With all the absolute skill and countless styles you have, imagine what you could do...?

This transcends typical transcriptions. This is a musical adaptation in which I do not feel the loss of not having the orchestra performing it. It captures the essence of what the composer emotionally intended. The flow, timing, the dynamic phrasing, the arpeggios, and the use of the pedal. It is a wonderfully artistic achievement. Thank you for this artistic effort.

if you overlap this with kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6F7zpuKncrbZ6g.htmlsi=wTZwW51LaGws1_Rq (which is the closest in length) you can create an effect almost as if the orchestra is still playing (there will be a bit where they are out of sync, but use the melody to get them back together and its amazing

Art of accompaniment class sounds like a wonderful idea. I am also looking at transposing it down - by a major third.

Mr Slava, your performance is the best for this Ravel piece. In fact, your waltz makes me want to start dancing. It's a pity Ravel couldn't let Nijinsky hear you play it... From what I heard on youtube, when other pianists play this piece, it often doesn't sound like a waltz... I'd rather give them the name 'not La Valse.' Is the waltz and its triple time rhythm not as easy as it sounds? Is it a matter of talent or of the education received? This piece as a waltz seems to me a high hurdle for pianists. Is that not so? (by daughter's mother)
