The cons made you guys sound really ungrateful. I spent time in Bali and I completely disagree. I walked pretty much everywhere with no problems at all. And when I didn’t want to walk I got a car taxi which is pennies. And when I wanted quiet time I got up early and walked on the beach. I found more peace in Bali than where I live and I think your cons are a really poor representation of a place where you have been lucky enough to be welcomed into.

Are we going to ignore the apartheid regime in Caprtown? The colonisation of the natives? Or nah let’s just celebrate the beauty and white supremacy? Yuk

Boston was established by the Puritans and they never really left. Boston is not for young adult tourists without kids looking for fun like NYC, L.A or Vegas. What Boston is, and this your family might be able to explain to you, is one of the best cities in the entire world to raise a family. It is packed with American history, two of the world's greatest universities and influential Christian churches that watch out for the well being of teenagers. This makes it the safest of all large U.S cities. Whereas NYC and LA are about fame and greed, Boston is about innovation and human. Yes, that's kind of boring, but in the end if you're looking for a place to live a life and not just visit, its the place. Do not visit the city in the dead of winter, its extremely cold and windy and not at all good for walking then. Travel to Boston when you have children either in the summer if you like sailing (some of the best on the planet is found between Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard) and beaches or in the fall if you like cooler weather and fall foliage.

Thank you for your time and posting (I took notes). At the time of your posting; the exchange of USD 1 = 23,902. Now (May 16); 1 = 25, 441. Also, the 90-day visa w/ multiple entry is US$104. :) And a few rumors that VN 'may' create a retirement visa in the future. :) I'll be traveling there in September and staying for 1 to 3 months starting in Hanoi, to see if I want to retire there. Hope... Hope... Hope... :) Subscribed, great info.

Everyone brags about it in the comments, but every time I watch such videos I feel sad because in the midst of mismanagement, economic disorder, injustice, Europeanization-Arabization conflict, our Turkish identity, culture, kindness, helpfulness, food, everything is slowly disappearing. I am not saying this from a conservative or reactionary point of view, every culture has its good and bad sides, but we are losing our own identity because of the government's policies and things like social media, everyone wants to live the way America and Europe youth behave and live because they long for the prosperity, justice and freedoms of these countries, but on the other hand the government is trying to Arabize people in the name of Islam.

Or maybe try to enjoy things sometimes and dont make everything about this country into some political thing. They are just tasting some food. Take your negativity into somewhere else.

We are travelling to Greece (from U.S.), and want to bring about 9500 dollars in cash with us. Can we keep the cash (and passports) on us in our pants pockets when going through security or customs? I would hate to have to put cash in that plastic bin, only to have it stolen! And is the limit still 10,000 dollars? Thanks in advance!

It's more safe and less of a issue with airport security if you use a debit card and withdraw from an ATM as needed. There are banks out there that have no withdrawal fees on your banks side and likely have a fee on the bank you're using. I recommend contacting your bank about your travel plans and using your ATM card overseas. Everything must be removed from your person when going thru security including passports and cash.

Similar to Eqypt and Tunisia, not the safest space for European women. I suggest coming with a man if you're planning on visiting Turkey as a European woman. Due to their religion and culture, the men over there tend to be quite aggressive towards open and free-willing women.
