I also had a 2 day 1 night Mon Cheri cruise by Vietnam Escape Tours last month. Everything was just soooo great here. The yatch is elegant and modern, the staff is friendly and youngg, I miss Miss Tam and her dedication so much. kayaking and swimming at the frog Pond were the most amusing activities. I really wanna come back

Halong Bay is amazing. And guess what? You don't have to pay USD 375 for a 24 hour experience. Other operators offer cruises as cheap as USD60 a pax for the same experience on smaller boats. It is certainly not just for the rich and wealthy.

@@mindlesspaul it depends on each person's view. My video actually was from a very cheap dorm cruise, but still brought me a great experience. I also did Mon Cheri Cruise, and it provided me differrent experience (the elegance, modernity, luxury). That is what I want to say, 2 different cruises will bring you different experience.

Hi Rhett and Claire! We love your videos. We are planning a trip to Vietnam and have used tour videos as guidance. We just booked the Mon Cheri on Vietnam Escape Tours. Can you please help with one thing I can't seem to calculate. What time does the bus get back to Hanoi after the cruise ? I need to book a flight to Da Nang and am scared to book the flight without knowing the estimated time of arrival back in Hanoi. We booked the 3 day/2 night cruise. So psyched!!!!

Hard to believe that's a "cabin", it's more nice than many hotel rooms. The view and balcony are amazing but to have the same view from a bathtub is just cherry on top.

Hi, yes this trip was filmed in August 2023:) It will probably be a bit cooler in late September as it moves more towards Autumn.

Not at all. We found the amount of people on the boat perfect. There is a lot of space for everyone and the cabins are very big. You can even sit on your own balcony to escape people if you want

How much was this cruise of yours please? How long did it last, please? Honestly Guys, I MARVEL at how much money you two must have if you just quit your jobs and took off on these journeys. I do not see you working in the videos so I can only assume that you have quite a hefty nest egg saved up. Honestly, I am also dying to know how much this journeying costs you two per week etc., but I will understand if you do not want to divulge the exact amount, as well. Full disclosure: I ask this of everyone who I see traveling here on YT. I do not only ask about the financials to you two. Yeah, I am always quite keen to know just how much whatever costs so that if I wanted to plan whatever I (or anyone else) could do so, as well.
