I much prefer car to car, even if it means a long day. Enough food/water/etc for the full day but I get to sleep in my bed.

Hey, another awesome Scramble, well done! I'm now 43 yrs old, have been scrambling since I was around 10 yrs old. I feel (almost) like I've 'done it all' in the Rockies, at last all I can but not quite yet ;) My favorite scramble lately is Mt French. Robertson would be awesome too (saw you did that last year). Thinking of doing Mt Foch, perhaps solo. Not sure though if you may like to join me on that one.

I was just exploring on google earth and found this mountain and just knew it would be an incredible mountain to summit, if possible. So i came to youtube to see if anyone's done it and found this! Incredible. So cool you did it!

I enjoyed this 3 peak day car to car a few years ago...if I did it again, I'd skip Ptarmigan. Wish I knew that shortcut haha.

Awsome summit. I was wondering if you would consider some other outstanding peaks, as for example Mount Goodsir, Hungabee Mountain or even Mount Farnham. Anyway, congrats for compleating Mount Warrier and Mount Cordonnier.🏔

Always makes me smile when people say I inspire them to get outside. My hope is for that, and to help people make it up these peaks safely. I honestly thought the storms would just miss me, but I was so wrong. Feeling very fortunate to have made it to safety so I could wait out the storm & continue the traverse.

Congratulations; nice recording of your adventure to watch. A climbing partner and I attempted Athabasca back in 2006, in early June, via North Face route - at its bergschrund, looking up the face, seeing 'too much' loaded snow still, we backed off, and returned to the base of the Silverhorn that we passed by earlier. to climb up its route that was in good shape, being less steep. Great views from one rope away from its peak, almost full view of the final stretch up to Athabasca's summit, clear weather. All good but time. We stuck to our rule[s] out up there, and turned around when we said we would, during the two days prior setting up. I was at the high point of our attempt, five minutes before our turnaround time, out of rope. We did revisit our commitment to the self-imposed rule, briefly, and agreed to be firm, all and everything considered. Who knows, we thought, we could come back maybe to finish, to summit. My partner's from Washington State, USA, I'm from northern Ontario, Canada. It was a big trip for each of us. I planted my mini Canadian flag, placed a sentimental token bag, and a picture... snapped a photograph of them, and down climbed safely. Well, other places got topped out, other adventures taken over the decades, but not (yet?) Athabasca. A wonderful expedition no less, great memories to recall. Good luck on future endeavours.

I did the ABC Loop couple days before you did this and we met a black bear in the parking lot at 6am and he was just minding his own business.
