Mount Robertson Climbers Scramble

Thanks to Andrey for inviting me to Scramble Mount Robertson. This is arguably the most difficult scramble in Alan Kane's Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies guidebook, it's debated between Robertson & Chancellor Peak. Robertson has more exposure with glacier travel & Chancellor has more elevation gain with difficult route finding. Since I've scrambled each this year I can say that both present their own unique challenges, but I enjoyed them both & had a lot of fun. Note that this is a mountaineering objective with glacier travel & should be done with a partner. First song is Virgo (Instrumental) by Atmosphere. Second song is Run Boy Run (Instrumental) by Woodkid. Third song is Two Steps Behind by Apollo Brown.

Fantastic video and work to capture it! do you think the base of the glacier had an Ice cave? it looked very likely from the scene you captured.

Thank you! I’m sure somewhere there is an ice cave but we didn’t see one
