Mount Northover - Summit Scramble
Huge day on Mount Northover with about 33kms of hiking & I clocked 60 000 steps in my pedometer. Happy to do this peak as I was suppose to go a few years ago but it never panned out. It's a very long day with severe exposure on the ridge & scrambling up the summit block. Soloing this mountain is a huge accomplishment for me personally & a stepping stone for what's coming next weekend.The whole trip report is explained in the video, even ran into some wildlife along the way. I thought it was very easy compared to Smuts. Actually I was wondering why there was two anchors in place. Pretty straightforward downclimb
