Wait wait wait (@ 24 minutes rn) Bizarro’s creation and Batman’s tracking of the origin gives us a tiny Easter egg of Cadmus/ clone-Superboy as a backdoor launch for a Young Justice movie.
I think they should instead hold back batman, superman, & wonder woman and instead focus on the under dogs like marvel did. I know marvel used underdogs because they didnt have all the rights to like spiderman and stuff but it worked.
This is how you destroy a good franchise...Henry Cavil is by far the best superman yet...now they decide to change the whole DC Comic Heros...So far I hears that Ben Afleck won't be back / Wonder Woman she's not coming back / & Henry Cavil won't be back... WTF.... is going on...Personally that's how i lose intrest on these Super Hero Crap....
My C-Men, to me!
Spider-Man is my favorite character tbh. My favorite will always be tobey but Even with the mcu Spider-Man people hate on Tom holland Peter but I think he’s so good as Peter/Spider-Man. Also always thought Andrew Garfield nailed it
I love this video and agree with the vast majority of it My only nitpick is Matthew 25:41 does not say that
I love this its so good, except -xaiver and Eric don't interact on the future at all -where are all the students and why is Bobby I.ideatly turned into an x men and not the other students. Surley there should be alot pf students after all so many people are going to this school
Seeing Superman X talking to Triplet Girl reminds me of that scene from My Adventures with Superman. Legion of Superheroes: Weakness? Try compassion. You're more than a mission Kal-El. You're a person. Quite frankly it's nice to see you finally starting to act like one. My adventures with Superman: No. I won't except that. You're not a weapon, you're a person. That moment just makes me feel you know?
Would you say Scott has returned to a more idealistic stance as of late?
They all are great characters (excluding Charles ) they just wasn’t represented right until X-men 97
This is my favorite movie. I am usually crying at multiple parts throughout because of how emotionally sincere and impactful it is, it's like my go to emotional support movie for when things are going wrong.
Me to. Bro me to
🔥
Thet Matthew 25:41 was a joke right. That's ot what it says
Green Lantern Corps has the potential to be the next Star Wars and it’s sad that Warner brothers DC didn’t have this idea
I personally like how long it is and how it takes its time to establish the world and characters. Most movies we see today are rushed becouse directors try to adapt to the shorter attention span of social media poisoned brains. But Wes Ball doesn't give a f*ck, and i like it! By the way, 30-40 minutes of 'fat' was already cut off to make it as tight as possible. If those 30-40 minutes are mostly in the second half of the movie, then an extended cut would make the movie almost perfect in my opinion.
Evolution did justice to the characters. It went into detail. Introduced the characters well. And the costumes and art syle was amazing and cool
Meh, for me it's not about being the best on paper. Cyclops (in the comics) is the best tactician, leader and cuts a tragic figure because he can't ever take off his glasses. But on the other hand he always gets the ladies. But being the leader, he's uptight and bossy. He's great in his function, but I just plain don't like him. I gravitate towards X-Men like Kitty Pryde, Wolverine, Gambit, and Nightcrawler. I like their personality more. They are more flexible. It's about what their super powers are too, which for me are way cooler than eye blasts. It's enjoyable following them on their adventures. Following Cyclops adventures is always about angst and seriousness in a way that aren't interesting to me. So for me, he is far from the best X-Man in the terms I outlined.
The end if the intro should've ended with Jor 'El finishing his line as Superman flies up in space. "For this reason above all, I have sent you...(Song finishes), my only son."
I'm glad X-Men 97 just gave him time to shine and also just let him cook
The Stone of Evolution
I always love The Movie and always will Hulk is One of my Favorite Charachter.
7:18 I really loved Jean’s hair in X-Men Evolution
So basically being good looking=superman. Dully noted
You know I feel that if Sony NEVER bought Spider-Man we probably would have had a 2000’s Spider-Man series
Just make Magneto the survivor of another more recent genocide like Cambodia or even Rwanda as it retains the genocide element without any contrived explanation like him conveniently being frozen. And make X-Men a TV series NOT a movie series for the MCU.
I just watched it. I thought it was good, solid. Not great. It felt like it dragged in many spots, and felt thematically muddled as it was unable to balance Noa's emotional arc and the handling of Caesars legacy. Proximus was underutilised. The final battle felt way too short, and I struggled to understand the inclusion of the second human character. I think the film could've done with more action and an increased focus on character development. That said, there were many positives! I absolutely loved Noa, he felt very unique when conpared to Caesar, and was extremely likable. Same for Mae and Rakka. The film was visually stunning, and I really liked Wes Balls directing. He nailed the tone that he was going for, and created some incredibly compelling sequences. Overall, I liked the film, but it just felt kinda hollow. Like something was missing. Solid, but not the masterpiece I was hoping for.
As I stated in my own comment, 30-40 minutes of scenes were cut off to, ironically, make it as tight as possible. I also felt that it was missing something, but hopefully a possible extended cut will fix that problem.
I have a theory that it could be the last trilogy is reverse. Eitherway them asking about if humans and apes can live together. I may be off but a guess
This movie is a great example of “who cares what the critics think.” If the fans liked it, then it was a good movie. I genuinely enjoyed this movie, and I watch it every now and then. We the fans should tell the critics that they can say what they want, but the more important group thought it was good.
amazing video
The whole original saga was referenced throughout the movie, the doll and the weapon’s silo being two massive ones. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but definitely miss Reeves directing style. The apes looked less real in this movie, but that might be down to cinema quality making the details fuzzy and less sharp
The human hunting scene was there just as a memberberry, like they wanted to recreate the scene. You don't see the humans ever again, you don't see them being used as slave labor for Proximus. They could have shown an interaction between the humans, grunting ti each other or something. To show us how humanity has regressed and devolved, but no
This would be a great starting point! MCU writers should take notes
11:02 Superman: Peace On Earth. Greatest single Superman issue.
Could be the best if you completely ignore Madilyn Prior.
The editing was bad? The cgi was bad??? Wtf i though this was the most realistic hulk ever
Gambit
please don’t start with the og 5
In 2024, we really REALLY need a strictly Reverend Stryker. Religious hate is out of control
Part 2 when?
Batman is the best and greatest DC superhero of all time
I Am Vengeance! I Am The Night! I Am Batman! - RIP Kevin Conroy
Agreed, there never has been and never will be a reason to "reinvent" Superman.
I hope they won't f up another desert for mid entertainment
I kind of want a reboot or a comeback like the same treatment as X-Men 97
9:30-9:50 My thoughts exactly! I think the best explanation for the nature of power comes from Dr. Erskine's description for the effects of the super-soldier serum from the MCU: "Good becomes great, bad becomes worse." If you hand somebody power and they end up going off the deep end, odds are good that they were already inclined towards that kind of behavior to begin with, it just wasn't as noticeable because it was on a much smaller scale. The only thing the power did was make them believe that they were above consequences.
Femboy, Superman is both Femboy and masculine ☺️
