My problem was I was putting too much pressure on my back foot so it's important to know you stay in your front foot until the instant of the pop.
When ever i do tres my left foot always gos ahead like ill do it perfectly then my flick foot will always go past the nose or to the side of the board
If you're struggling to have enough power to do Yre flips, etc ? Buy a POWERLINE-Vertical-Garage-Leg-Press. Awesome. 👌
bros been a lakai guy since🔥🔥
Thank you so much Tom, these vids really help!
So glad you're still going!
I really like this trick. Maybe one day
Accidently landed a heel flip while in my Ollie practice session. Week 2 of skateboarding
Thanks to this vid 👌🏿
Mine always heelflip. I think it's if your board hits the tail on your back toeside, it kickflips and back heelside it heelflips
I think it’s better if you focus on the hips not the shoulders
bs smith and/or nollie crooks🥸
I love this man as a skater but I learnt my bs heelflips from watching Sheckler in the park he does a high heel flip and catches 90 and then reverts the rest. I've learnt it that it inevitable just goes the entire way after a while.
I screamed outloud a lil to myself when he did his at the end...i want mine like that
wtt
I've always flipped heel flips off my toe and people think I'm crazy for it, but everyone who's ever tried it that way says it's the better method
Hello im a new skater and i been trying to learn heelflip for a month the i can flick the board and land my front foot but my back foot doesn't jump so I cant land it any tips?!

Trust yourself or force yourself to trust yourself you got it 👍
@@itsyaboialex_2494 best tip so far i think i just had to force my self to jump with my back foot
for me its not about delay as much as it is foot placement the more foot you have on the board the longer its going to take to flick anyhow.
I can ollie okay and consistently but i think in order to have a good ollie, i needa bring my backfoot up like you said. I honestly didnt think id learn anything from this but i sure did. Thank you ol son
Damn dude you did that as easy as i reg pop shuv. Hopefully, I'll get it down before the end of this summer
I like to put my popping foot a tiny bit more on the heel side so it pops just that little second earlier. It can cause a slight heelflip rotation but I use that to stop the shuv just a little easier
He's still the best! ;)
"wait the angling is done the other way?" "always has been 🔫"
The back foot part really helped me get these, glad you pointed that out, got ‘em regular and Fakie now. Thanks!
Damn! Make it look sooo easy. Glad your back 💪🏽💪🏽 🛹❤️
That heel flip tip really made a difference for me. Thank you so much for this video.
thanks
YESSSS OMG THANK U 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Haha got you!!
That’s when I miss the flick completely and the board hits me in the nutz
and i always thought to place popping toe on the edge. gotta try this.
Can you do more ledge tutorials plz? love your videos! 🤙
Laser flip or fs360 pop shuvit next?
Siiick, laser flip when?
Laser flip may just have to be soon. Seems to be the most wanted right now!
I landed a sketch bs 180 heel after this tutorial thank u I love heel flips variations so laser flip would b sick
Back 360 or front 360 next?
Does that mean your shoes have no wear on the heel? I def flick off the heel, not the toes… and it shows on my shoes
It’s likely your heel still scrapes the griptape *after* the flick. Plus doing other tricks that require more of your foot to slide up the griptape can also create marks on your heel. Not trying to tell you how you’re doing your heelflips, but just food for thought.
bro am waiting some tips for this trick and your vid drop out,
YES can’t beat that! 👊
dolphin flip next
👎
I’m not much of a dolphin flipper and have never done one, I’m sorry!
Where r ur manners

I'm Australian, I'm normally asleep when your vids drop and now I get the much anticipated BS Heel vid! I still think that BS Heel you did in that BATB 11 game on defense against Tom Asta was the best one ever done in the history of BATB. The pop, the way you fully rotated it in the air and of course Felipe Gustavo saying "That was so beast!", that was a sick moment. I had no idea who you were before that video and became an instant fan after watching that, seeing a lesser known name at the time coming out absolutely SWINGING against Asta with a serious flatground clinic, that big hardflip, that SICK frontside bigspin heel and that insane nollie back bigspin heel on defense (and many more), I knew from then you were someone to watch out for. Thanks for all the tutorial vids, you definitely bring a level of detail that many tutorial vids fail to match and even for tricks like nollie 360 flip, pop shuvit, heelflip etc that I know well, I'll still watch the video anyway skip straight to the part where you show off you doing the trick in real and slow motion just to see someone who can do those tricks so ridiculously well!
Dude thank you so much for saying all this! That's so funny that you mention that BS heel from BATB. The ground at The Berrics is so slippery that I always almost slip out on back heels there, and that's what caused my board to flip like that lol, love that it stood out to you like that! Thank you for all your kind words, I'm honored to know I've been on your radar and I appreciate you sharing all this as it's super fulfilling to hear. I will definitely keep them coming! 👊
nice. what size deck do you ride? thanks
I skate 8.25's and my shoe size is 10.5
First
Great tips on matching the angle as you stomp down, and using the ball of your front foot.
Dude I cant commit my back foot
Спасибо за такой детальный разбор! Вот оказывается какой трюк я всё это время пытался сделать🥲. Ещё раз, такое пошаговое объяснение - просто супер
