One of those tricks, like a Smith grind, that is deceptively harder than it looks. Prob one of my best tricks. This lesson is for the basic version. Once you get more familiar with the rotation you can pop them off the coping for some air and they become a much more stylish trick.

Any tips on falling forwards safely in case you are stuck on the coping?

It may hurt no matter what, so the best thing you can do is learn them on a small quarterpipe with small coping, then take it to a bigger quarterpipe once you feel comfortable enough. Otherwise you can throw on some pads to help soften the slam, but this trick requires commitment. I would aim to get the middle of your board onto the coping as well to avoid hang ups.

Another tip is to lean/face forward (toward the bottom of the quarterpipe) while you're stalled. That way if you do fall you'll at least be ready to catch yourself.

What happened to your knee man? Also in your Heelflip video you said to flick with your toe but which toe did you mean. Anyways backside disaster is one I struggle to do consistently so hopefully this will help me.

I badly injured it a couple months back. Thankfully nothing was torn, but it hasn't been a fun recovery. We appreciate you and everyone else's patience! For heelflips, focus on flicking off your pinky toe and the one next to it. Really, just think of putting all your pressure down on that very edge of your board where you flick. I hope this does help you with your bs disasters!

@@robtaylor9531 Hang your back toe off the board while you put your weight down on the toe side of the back pocket . That back foot placement/weight is most vital for FS Feebles.

I've enjoyed thd tutorials before it came to quarter pipes. Now i should probably unsubscribe because ledges, rails and banks make much more sense then such playgrounds.

Depending on your mindset, a quarterpipe can be one of the most fun things you'll ever skate. But in response to what you're saying, I'm healing from a serious knee injury at the moment, so it's either no tutorials or tutorials that don't require impact (quarterpipes). A lot of people have been requesting these anyway. Thank you though for your support so far. 👊 What is it that you don't like about quarterpipes?
