On big ramps I always found touching the nose of the board with my leading hand to help me lean forward. Never went wrong.

It definitely helps
Great tips on matching the angle as you stomp down, and using the ball of your front foot.
Just fell down by stomping to hard. Good to see that you mentioned that on the video. It's easy to teach to stomp hard as it helps getting over the fear of bigger QP but doesn't help in the end as you loose balance faster.
Well explained I think this is the only video on youtube where every movement is explained. Really educational.

Thank you!
Got you a new sub. Great tutorial! I’m in the process of learning this rn. I love how you touch on where to look. Super important. The ball of the foot is something I hadn’t considered either.

@03:57 Ohhhhhhhh! Never heard it put that way before it makes perfect sense now.
I wish my local park had such a mellow quarter pipe my first time dropping in is gonna have to be on something a little steeper like that ramp behind you in the video this video is giving me confidence I feel it’s gonna happen for me soon

Same here, the park near me just have two massive bowls that make my chest tense up whenever I skate by. I'm looking for a place with something milder

Thank you so much that means a lot to hear! 🙏
That's a scary one,bs smith stalls for example are mentally easier to me😂 Thanks for this video, i know that it's easy physically but it's nice to see someone really explain it and giving helpful tips,i'll try to work on those soon🙏
Thanks))
I am still working on it, but slowly. I see my prev comment was 6 months ago. I tried to drop in a bowl yesterday and slammed; rung my bell! It was worth it. I am making progress at least.

I tore my MCL trying it the first time. Dropping in is really more of an accomplishment than people give it credit for.
Name a quarter pipe trick you hope to see a future tutorial for! 👇

Maybe feebles, dan corrigan said that they help with feebles on ledges, but really everything will be great when it comes to your vids
I feel like bigger stuff is easier to drop in on. Some parks have some ridiculously tight transition on the smaller quarter pipes. Deceptively challenging.
Front side 50-50 Tweaked Ollie’s. 🙏🏽
tutorial fs disaster next???

@@benllewellyn1887 haha on a QP would be nuts! That trick is so sick on flat though. To me laser flips are easier...
