I think it'd be cool to see a video on skate posture/form. How weight distribution, foot placement, upper body effects tricks in specific ways. Like a trick tip on how to fix every trick on your own. I think you'd be able to explain that well. Hopefully, that makes sense.

It's worth mentioning that there is a second completely different technique for heelflips than the one demonstrated here whereby you flick with your pinky toe and not your heel. Some people refer to that technique as the Neen Williams heelflip. He has a berrics video where he explains it. I find that technique allows for a lot more control of the flip and fewer rocket heelflips.

I've been skating for 10 years and this spring when the snow melted I couldn't heelflip anymore. I literally had no idea what was going wrong I've been skating long enough that I can usually self diagnose any issues, adjusting weight distribution, set-up, truck tightness, changing where/how I flick off and literally nothing made sense. Sometimes I could land them and other times I'd be totally hopeless. TODAY I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! WHEN LEANING BACK YOU MUST STICK YOUR REAR END OUT FURTHER TO GET MORE WEIGHT BEHIND THE BOARD! THIS ALSO HELPS YOU SEE THE BOARD ROTATE UNDER YOU! before I was literally bending straight down to pop and trying to lean my shoulders back which would put my head behind my knees so I could hardly see the board rotate as well and making you land with your weight way to far forward and difficult to land.

This ain’t just a skate video it’s a life lesson
There's so many different kinds of heelflips, so many different techniques and styles
Mine usually stick to my feet and I could stomp them but I’m having a lot of trouble with switch ones everytime I try it it does and inward heel and I can land it very easily Nellie but can’t nollie or switch heel but can switch laser switch varial heel switch fs heels ect. It’d weird how that works.
3:59-4:40 is a brilliant lesson in self awareness and how to stay focused on learning. "Accountability" mmm yeah thats the stuff.
watching this for my switch heels. idk why they’re harder than switch flips to me. i can regular heelflip perfectly
This was SO helpful I feel like I shouldn’t be getting this information for free lol
i been tryin heelflips 4 a couple months now and I get the rotation good and the board actually flips but i can't put my front foot on, it always lands on the ground at the left of the nose (idk if it was clear, english is not my first language srry) i commit to it and I convince myself that I can but it'll just not land
Thanks
I need help maybe I'll get a reply from you who knows but I'm desperate I've tried everything...after a 15 20 year break I've recently started skating again and I just can't stop jumping forward on my heelflips.. I have landed a few one on film a nice popped one but I literally can't help jumping forward I must be able to because I have a Clean one on film I don't get it ready to snap board...
4:00 this is completely true and this is how i got stuck with back/front foot kickflips for a year
What deck are you riding..the shape looks great
I know I'm late but if anyone can help me I'll galdy appreciate it. I been skating for a while I can do kickflip like everytime but when it comes to heelflip get everything right I just land with the board upside down I can't get to get full rotation any tips?
Learned My heels before My kickflips, but i lost them, and after this quarantine break i realized that . Is necessary for me to relearn the techniche since i hace the muscle memory no more. I'll correct My body distribution for the next time. Thanks a lot bro

Its cause theyre so easy to get on. Alsi other shoes are so hard to get on. I agree with you
i just cant get the timing right, like i can get my board to land first and then land on it, but i cant put my feet on my board mid air
Good video
I like how this channel is called skate hacks and literally gives out the best hacks. Great vid. Btw what happened to the PlantRider channel? Why two different channels specially since the other one was getting quite popular

I wanted to focus on skating alone since the skating aspect of my old channel was the only thing that constantly grew. I also wanted to stop vlogging everything and sharing my personal life. I think privacy is a virtue in today’s world where we’re already encouraged to share everything with everyone. It was just a move that made sense to me.

SKATE HACKS Totally understand. Anyway as long as skate related content comes out from your channels I’m happy!
