I've been dying to learn varial kickflips, and honestly, your tutorials are the only ones that ever make sense to me. The way you break things down just clicks. If it’s any help you can practice hopping off the board In a “slip out” situation. It’s actually pretty easy, and then if you always make sure the rail is nice and waxed then you know you can always just hop off and ditch the board. Sticking is the real scary one especially if you’re going fast.

Even it is souch a "no brainer" to look where you are supposed to land, but the way you said it just stuck in my mind and on todays session my overall lockin consistency was up like 70% thanks so much for your tutorials man 🤜

thanks tom. one of the first tricks i learned was boardslides but after taking a break from skateboarding i have a lot of paranoia about slipping out. just gotta get my confidence back and remember to keep my weight forward..
