The Official KZread Channel of the Bangles - Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, and Vicki Peterson
One of those rare bands that were both of their time and timeless, the Bangles paid homage to the great rock and roll styles of the ‘60s and updated it for ‘80s pop audiences. The most successful act to emerge from the “Paisley Underground” music scene in Los Angeles, this all-female quartet commanded the charts with a combination of irresistible pop hooks and a visual flair that earned them heavy rotation on MTV.
Thanks to hits and fan favorites like “Going Down To Liverpool” (accompanied by a video featuring Leonard Nimoy), the Prince-penned “Manic Monday,” chart toppers like “Walk Like An Egyptian” and the ballad “Eternal Flame,” and a hard-driving cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Hazy Shade Of Winter,” the Bangles’ powerful pop resonates regardless of the decade.

Remembering when I heard this beautiful Xmas song by the first time, then Bangles sent it me in a podcast. I was so happy! Today, i don't understand the real reason, but i'm like an invisible fan to Bangles, 😔 Greetings*

Vicki my love
They were not a great girls band. Absolutely not. They were an amazing rock band! They could hang with any band out there, easily. Their version of Hazy Shade of Winter is nothing short of epic. The guitar riff is amazing and they have the exact right amount of cowbell oh, I know this because I asked Christopher Walken. Susanna if you're reading this will you please marry me?
Remeber this song from the movie Thrashin.

That's not true she's still happily married
Love this

Check out the pandemic stay at home duet of Manic Monday with Susanna and Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, done remotely. Green Day is my fave band, and Bangles favorite of the latter 80's. Just great seeing them together. ❤ to both!
