Man, the 80s was the perfect decade to have been a teenager! Absolutely LOVE this track and the video! We had brilliant times, brilliant TV, brilliant films and fantastic bands that we took for granted like The Bangles and 99% of the groups here in the UK! And The Bangles were/are HOT!!!

Agreed ! I was born in 1969 and enjoyed every minute of the late 70's, 80's, and early 90's. What a time to be alive and things will never be the same after living through it. Saw the Bangles in 1989 at the Carowinds Palladium, Charlotte, NC. I've seen many bands in my time, every body from Aerosmith to U2, but that one ranks as one of my favorites. My favorite Bangle is Michael Steele. My crush for her rages to this very day.

You’re so lucky .Hardly anyone came to Ireland back then .The biggest concert was at Slane Castle every year but that was above Dublin which for me as a fifteen year old May as well have been on Mars .Still I wore out all my tapes so I was there in spirit .All my class were .

Susanna Hoffs is so adorable. Sleeping like an angel. Her beautiful smile when she falls out of the van She is absolutely beautiful.

These girls did some great music in only about a five year span! 84-89. Two number one hits, two number two hits, a number five, and this one went to #11. Not bad at all Bangles!

@@lisaosfan - The Go-Go's hit first and had more songs higher up. Not sure, but probably better sales. Of course, the Bangles had a direction problem, in that their management decided to move them into songs that really weren't what they wanted and then began this "Susanna is the pretty one, so she is the lead" play and developed division in the group.

Correction: They earned two #1’s, two #2’s, #5, #11 and one Top 40 from 1986-1989. They accomplished a lot in that short time frame. They did come back in 1999-2003 with a new album. Spice Girls were similar from 1996-1998. Bangles were the 80’s and Spice Girls was the 90’s along with TLC.

The 80s was a great decade for two female bands, the Go-Go's in the first half of the decade with the Bangles taking over in the second half. I liked both bands at the time. Long live the 80s ! 0:30

That's what I thought as well. Both are great bands. Since the Go-Go's got in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Bangles should be in it also.

Hopefully,The Bangles will eventually find their way into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

I mean Yeah they could clean things up a little here and there in the studio, but you had to be talented to be able to pull this level of awesome off! I love it when they harmonize! The eighties was a really prolific time for producers and directors everywhere, The Bangles made the music industry so much fun in the eighties! Everything was still so fresh, because of the distribution of technology,you can see that people really enjoyed learning about music in the eighties! There's so much information that you can gather from the eighties alone about how music has changed and transformed the way society thinks about traveling and technology! I love music!

Little Richard always cracks me up. Funny bit there!

At every stage of their career they’ve hit it off with a positive note hurray for them.

My favorite Bangles song. Way better than Manic Monday. If this song doesn't get you moving, nothing will.

At heart they're a 60's band in the 80's. The best two decades for music, what a combo.

I’m the same way. I knew who they were then but didn’t really follow them much. Now I think they’re great.

We were all so young back then, & so were The Bangles. 😊

Susanna was so incredibly cute. Nobody has ever flirted with the camera like she did, except maybe Sheena Easton or Olivia Newton John.

One of the songs I will love forever.

Here is the deal once and for all about Bangles v. GoGo's. All were hot. Check. Sans Belinda, all could play. All had a hot, presence-having, front person. All got awards. All sold out 25,000 seat venues. But here is the "rub". I truly believe Bangles could play & pull-off most any genre of music; GoGo's sounded like the GoGo's everytime. Nod goes to the Bangles for that reason !!

Just saw Susanna Hoff's on the documentary that Tom Hanks did for HBO called "The Sixties." She was interviewed for the episode called the British Invasion and how The Bangles were influenced. at 56 years old she is still a hottie.

Susanna Hoffs and Vicki Peterson did not use many effects pedals on their guitars, though Vicki allegedly used an Ibanez Tube Screamer on some songs. Susanna primarily played Rickenbacker guitars, while Vicki played a Gibson Les Paul Custom, with both Susanna and Vicki using Fender amps.

That's back when they were holding Senate Hearings and filing injuctions against "Jungle Music"(that's what they called Rock'n'Roll back then).
