Greatest studio band of all time, greatest live band of all time. Even The Go-Go's couldn't top them.

I'm 37 now... and Bangles was for me one of the most greatest female band of all time.. REALLY GREAT TIME hugs from southamerica

Sounds almost exactly like the studio version. No tricks, no autotune, just 4 women kicking ass on stage. What a band.

ahhh this was a golden time for the bangles...i was 13 in 86 and i can tell you that they basically owned that whole year..manic monday came out in january 86...then they had if she knew what she wants...and by the end of the year walk like an egyptian was HUGE...air play back then was much more intense some how compared to now..i loved micheal steele thier bass player..she sang september girls..bangles are my fav girl group..and im 36 now lol.

The whole song was awesome, but the beginning looked like so much fun!

Saw this show in San Diego, this is the Different Light tour 3 nights in a row 2 @ the sports arena & 1 @ SDSU which was the best of the 3 cuz it was a real small venue but the brought all the sound gear from the big show and just kicked our asses. I Love this band and I'm so happy to say I had a chance to see all 4 of them together in their prime as a group... 3 real special nights in my life I'm 52 now and seeing this show again here on You Tube is fantastic Thanx. PretzelFarmer...!!!

@@CR055FIRE that's nonsense, the Bangles sounded better live. If you ever heard studio versions of Peter Frampton's live hits they were dull compared to live. Same with Cheap Trick's live album.

With these girls, it's night and day, and SO SUPERIOR in every way on stage. to name a few others, who out-do the studio version of anything: AC/DC, Elvis, Shania, Waylon Jennings, and the list goes on! educate yourself

@@CR055FIRE I get that, but for the heck of it, check Fleetwood Mac's version of "Over and Over." The live version is, wow. Period. Leaves the studio version in the dust. Also try Yes and their studio and live versions of "Starship Trooper" and "Perpetual Change", omg, how much crazy better are the live versions.

@@ImperialRadioYT Educate yourself? Really, Imperial, that's never a kind thing to say to another. The Bangles played their songs live here just like their studio versions, not even extending a guitar middle. Don't get me wrong, I love these live versions. Bands like Yes and Fleetwood Mac played some of their songs so much better live than their studio versions, and I name them above. As for AC/DC, Waylon Jennings, and your list of more... Yea, I'll pass on that.

Most people do not realize how performing concerts soon becomes *not* much fun. They perceive it as glamorous and it can indeed be that way. However, it involves a lot of work and logistics. From early on the only aspect of touring some actually enjoy is the concert itself, and eventually even that can become drudgery. Perhaps the biggest mental struggle a performing musician has is not nerves; it is feelings of ennui. It is quite easy to get to the point where concerts become downright boring.

Holy shit. They were awesome at Blossom this tour.

its crazy the Syria Mosque isn't used for concerts anymore..my aunt is actually going to a wedding reception there this weekend. so i'm assuming this was a concert shown on mtv in the 80's. thats so cool. this place is like a half hour from my house. i love the bangles

@jtkriskey Those Susannah side to side eye movements have to be by design. First noticed it in the "Walk Like an Egyptian" video. Some marketing guy must have said "Hey Susannah, keep doin' the eye thing, because it drives the guys nuts!" Yeah Sue is the default hottie, but there's something about Michael - she's cute and has those long legs that go from the floor up to....well, way past her kneecaps! Miss her.
