As soon as I saw this video, I screen shot the recipe immediately!! I made this for my niece and I , and we both LOVE this recipe!! It’s so well-rounded, and has a “cooked all day” flavor without the wait!! And I discovered a new seasoning I use in other dishes now : Deggi Mirch!!!

Great job, but try it a second time. Use half as much dough for one bara (yours was too thick). Don't use a rolling pin. Stretch it by hand, using oil on your hands. Stretch it until it's almost transparent. Flash fry the bara for 2-3 seconds. Yes, I'm not exaggerating. Only 2-3 seconds . I personally messed up the first time I did it and fried for 5-10. Resist the urge to fry for more than 3 seconds. You put it in, sneeze, flip it once and then take it out. Next, wrap up all your bara in a cloth and leave it steaming in the cloth. You can put a heavy book on top the cloth. After about 30 minutes steaming in the cloth, under the weight, the bara will be perfect. Try it 😊.
