Some pretty interesting catches!
Hehe, I'm glad we could get that Cabcar move together when we went! Nice catches Jamie!
Great video and awesome ride
I loaded that train at Comstock UT!
Awesome catch. This is back when Utah Southern Railroad loaded these up at Comstock Mine and took them down the hill to Iron Springs to hand-off to UP. OISRM to Richmond, CA and OISST to Stockton.
Cool tanker train
Farewell BART Legacy Fleet ('72-'24) A new era as BART is 100% Fleet Of The Future
I don't know how it's taking me this long to finally discover this but considering that I've been living in Chicago for quite some time now. Just went today for the first time. What a sweet location!!

You're welcome! Hope to visit again soon for an actual railfan trip. This visit was a business trip for work training, hence why my videos are late afternoon/early evening/night shots.

Nice
It’s interesting that F40PH number 130 had her red marker lights on both front and back
Yeah. Certainly made for a fun catch though. So glad I caught at least one of the F40PHs during my brief visits to the tracks. But I do plan to return soon hopefully for an actual railfan adventure all over the DFW area.
@@WestCoastRailProductions it’s also great that cab car number 1002 is back in service with her beautiful tag style K5LA horn
I saw this at Emeryville im from Virginia and when amtrak engines break down we get a lot of these never seen one take a amtrak in virginia yet from ns but I guess I brought some luck when I came to the bay area the crew was great when I saw them the guy that was on your side gave me ✌ sign engineer opend the window to wave to me
Well done!
A beautiful k5la on the ac44 c6m 4111
3:04 horn battle. Which one, NS 4111 or CDTX 6961? I think this is the first time a NS engine leads the Coast Starlight, right?
I’d take NS 4111 in the horn battle. Most locomotives tend to have better sounding horns than the 6960 series Amtrak California cab cars. Don’t know if this is the first time ever that an NS unit has led this train, but from what I can recall, it’s certainly the first time I’ve personally seen this.
This happened about 13 years ago (per the video)...the Northbound Amtrak Hoosier State (Indianapolis to Chicago) was involved in a grade crossing accident. The engineers windshield was busted up. CSX sent a rescue locomotive to haul the train the rest of the way to Chicago: kzread.info/dash/bejne/l6Wp2s2olreWk8o.htmlsi=7KtVX-e9NCwic_59
No, NS 9834 led many years ago.
Nice video
Is Maltby between concord and Martinez California
Maltby is in the Pacheco area which I would consider to be like the southernmost part of Martinez.
Bnsf is my favorite railroad
Does anyone know if it’s still there, or able to be viewed by the public still? I’ve been trying to figure out why there aren’t any new images of it.
Nice video and awesome train catches!👍
Great video and catches
Nice to hang out with you guys that day
I was there at Emeryville too Excellent shots btw
Excellent video and it was nice meeting you at Emeryville on National Train Day!
9:17 great catche of a former SP locomotive with flashing ditch lights
Despite the onslaught of the charger locomotives, it’s great to see F59PHI locomotives still working for Amtrak California
Strong Video
2472 was in the niles Canyon railway
Nice video Jamie! You were pretty lucky to get that CSX duo when I wasn't even thinking it would appear anywhere as I also attended the Great Train Show at Cal Expo. I also happened to be at Davis on the way home that day where I also happened to see Amtrak Capitol Corridor services 734 and 745.
Just wait until all the Graeagle residents start complaining about the noise & smoke.
This video gives me nostalgia because I watched this video when I was 4…
Nice video
Nice video
